My head... It hurts so much. The pain is unbearable... Where am I..? And why can't I move?! Why am I tied up!? What's going on!? I try to move, trying to at least loosen up the tight ropes? Chains? ...slime..? I don't know. And I don't really care. I try to move, the chair I'm in scraping on the floor, suddenly. I hear footsteps coming down the stairs, a familiar voice calls to me.

"Well look who's awake....I suggest you stop moving...It won't help."

"W-who are you? What do you want!?" A sweet-sounding giggle erupted from the darkness. Suddenly, dazzling golden eyes emerge from the darkness.

"The love of your life~" They say calmly, and I could feel the smugness radiating off them.

"Look... I didn't know what your deal is... But I'm warning you.." Suddenly, the lights turn on, and I close my eyes tightly. Another sweet giggle bounces off the walls.

"Honey.. you have no power here..." They say calmly, my eyes finally adjust to the light, and who I see shocks me... Amity Blight.. covered in.. a dark shade of crimson.

"Amity..?" I say in absolute disbelief. What is going on here??! What is she doing?!

"Hello dear~ I see you're finally awake.. had a nice nap?"

"What's going on!? Where am I?"

"You're at my house... In our basement." She calmly explains.

"Why am I tied to a chair?!" She tilts her head to the side, as if she was trying to find the best answer to my question. Finally, she spoke.

"So you don't run away.. duh! Come on Luz, I know you're smarter than that~" She says calmly.

"What do you want from me?!" I feel the anger rising, my fear slowly being replaced by confusion.

"Only your undying love and affection~" I raise an eyebrow at her.

"You can't be serious.." She giggles again.

"Oh~ but I am... And I'm going to make sure you feel the same way. Luz, I have loved you for quite some time now... Some people have made it so hard! And some people tried to take you away... Or hurt you... But now? You're safe! You and I'll be together forever~! No one will ever be able to take you away from me! Isn't that wonderful!?"

"Amity..-"

"Not now, love.. I have something I need to go take care of.. In the meantime... I need you to stay put. And try not to miss me too much!" And with that, she walked away, going up the stairs and shutting the door behind her. A deafening 'click' bounces off the walls. Luz's head is now swirling with questions... All of which she'll have to ask later... Suddenly, an overwhelming need for sleep comes over her. She doesn't attempt to fight it and allows sleep to take her.

Maybe this is all just a dream...?
