It's been a total of two weeks and 3 days since mittens had undergone her test. Her first and crucial step in making her dream come true, to become one of the most powerful witches in the boiling isles! As well as the most powerful family! It has also been three days since she's woken... I'm worried... But I know that father is doing his best to make sure nothing goes wrong. And me and Em have made it our job to cover for mittens while she recovers. From school to home we've made sure to uphold our sisters image as 'top student'. At the moment mittens lays on father's work table, being given different kinds of injections and healing spells, it was a beautiful sight to see. Emira had gone to feed the humans and our 'pet' while I stayed to assist father if he needed me. I was beyond excited to see what would happens once my baby sis woke up! I have no idea what to expect, but I know it'll be amazing!

I sat on the edge of Mitten's bed, running my hands through her hair, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear. Poor thing. Mittens has been in so much pain, but she seems to be doing better, she might be able to go back to school soon. Everyone has been so nosey with everything that goes on with this family that it's becoming a bit of a problem. I guess we should have expected it. Our family has been particularly quiet after the 'disappearance' of our mother. I was drawn away from my thoughts when I saw mittens stirring from her sleep. She yawned, rubbing her eyes. It was the cutest thing I had ever witnessed! She looked at me and smirked.

"Hello mittens~"

"Hello Em." She said calmly, this is the first time she's spoken since the test. I'm not surprised by this, Amity was given a great boost in power, her healing abilities are much more advanced than that of a regular witch. I smiled brightly and giggled.

"Well someone's feeling better~!" She nodded and sat up, looking at me.

"You've been giving my Luz the attention she needs...right?" I nodded.

" Why of course I have! You must have more faith in me!" I said, looking hurt. She simply rolled her eyes and playfully punched my arm.

"Oh~ shut up! " She said with a hint of amusement in her tone. I looked at her, before voicing my concern.

"Your sure you're okay?" I cupped her face and put on a serious face. She signed and gave a small smile.

"I've never felt better!" She said, and I couldn't help but agree with this. She's never been this happy before, I don't remember the last time mittens had truly, and wholeheartedly smiled. It felt so good to see it! I hugged her tightly and.... She hugged me back....

"My sweet sister~ I love you so~!"

"I feel the same Em! I love you too!"
