I would have never expected this. Betrayed. And by my own family, no less—my own flesh and blood! They only come to feed me and torture me. And then they leave. How could they do this!? My good-for-nothing children and my good-for-nothing husband?!
I've been nothing but good to them! I've built a name for this family. We hold a title unmatched by any other family out there. But it just wasn't good enough for them. They desired more! Those greedy bastards..." The door opens, and I freeze in place. Could it be that time already?
"Mother~" A voice calls out to me, causing a shiver to go up my spine. Out of nowhere, a jet of green lightning strikes me in the chest. I let out an agonizingly painful scream.
"Pathetic," a voice says bitterly before another jet of green lightning strikes me in the chest again and again. Laughter fills the room, bouncing off the walls, taunting me.
"E..mira... Ed...ric..." I say hoarsely. They ignore me, and Emira runs over to me, sitting in my lap.
"Mother! Oh, mother~ you'll never guess what has happened!" Emira says energetically. Edric follows suit and leans on my shoulder.
"Amity... She's becoming powerful~ far more powerful than you could dream!" Suddenly, Emira gets off my lap and roughly pushes me back, causing me to slam down on the cold concrete floor.
"But enough about that~ Me and Ed came to have some real fun." Edric then kicks me in the side, and Emira kicks me in the stomach. They use painful spells on me and haunt me with illusions. They break me only to fix me and then do it all over again, my blood splattering on their faces and clothes. My pleas and cries go unanswered. This is my life now...
