(Childe's) pov

it has been a few hours of waiting, childe was getting worried zhongli never came home this late, as soon as he heard the door open he ran straight to the brunette, "zhongli! where have you been?? i've been waiting so long for you.." childe said in a sad tone, "oh? i was out for that long? i apologize child's, i lost track of time," zhongli said while cupping childe's face, "hmph..tell me next time when your going home late..i was really worried about you.." childe spoke "i'm sorry..how can i make it up to you-" "sleep with me." childe said cutting off zhongli, "what was that?" zhongli asked "i said sleep with me, no more switching rooms like last night," childe said demandingly, zhongli sighed "alright then, let me go get changed and we can sleep as i suppose it is already late," childe nodded and zhongli went to they're shared bedroom to change,

once zhongli was finished he went up to childe, childe tapped the spot next to him signalling zhongli to sit beside him, zhongli obliged and sat beside him, "soo? who's this mysterious person who made you lose track of time??" childe said definitely not jealous or anything just curious, "hm? why do you ask?" zhongli asked "nothing! i just want to know who you've been hanging out with, nothing more," childe said "it's no one really, don't think much about it," zhongli said smiling, "well let's sleep now, im getting really tired," zhongli said while yawning, zhongli closed the lamp beside them and went to sleep, "hmm..alright i guess i shouldn't overthink this, goodnight love.." childe placed a peck on the others lips, childe wrapped his arms around the others waist and drifted off to sleep,

~the next day~

childe barely slept last night he said that he wouldn't overthink this but oh boy was he wrong, he tried brushing it off but the thoughts just kept coming back, "ugh.." childe groaned he looked over to zhongli and saw him still peacefully asleep, a smile formed onto childe's face, childe caressed the others cheek, "your so adorable.." childe said quietly, zhongli's eyes started to open and he saw childe inches away from each others faces, instead of pulling away he leaned onto the touch, childe chuckled "come on sleepy head, time to wake up.." childe said cupping zhongli's sleepy face "ngh.. childe..i want sleep.." he said still half asleep "but it's morning already, besides its not my fault you came home so late," childe said "ugh..fine c'mere" childe picked up zhongli and carried him to the kitchen, when they got to the kitchen he placed down zhongli on a chair and went to cook, after childe cooked he gave it to the brunette who was still really sleepy even though childe was the one who didn't get any sleep, "come on, eat first then shower and then you can sleep again.." childe said while taking a bite of the food he made "can you stay here today?" zhongli asked quietly "hmm? why?" childe asked "nothing, you've been hanging out with hiroshi alot so i never see you in the house anymore.." zhongli said "awhh did you miss me?" childe spoke, zhongli turned away trying to hide his blushing face "okayy i'll stay for today," zhongli's face immediately lit up from hearing those words he was happy because he could spend time with his childe once more,

the two finished eating and zhongli went to the bathroom to get showered, "hmm i wanna join him shower...but that'll ruin the plan.." childe thought about it for awhile "screw it," childe got up and went inside the bathroom, "c-childe? what are you doing here?" zhongli asked "can i join you?" childe asked nervously "oh? of course," childe joined the other in the shower both would be a blushing mess because they hadn't showered together for awhile yet they enjoyed each others company, zhongli has already finished but he waited for the other to finish, once childe was finished they got out of the shower and changed into new pairs of clothes, "i assume your going out with hiroshi again right?" zhongli spoke sternly "eh is he mad?" childe thought to himself "u-uhm not today" childe said, they weren't gonna hang out today because hiroshi was really busy right now. zhongli looked pleased with the answer "finally.." zhongli thought "that means you'll be with me the whole day right?" zhongli said "oh yeah! we can spend the day together!" childe said as he did miss spending time with the brunette, zhongli had a calm face but inside he felt really relieved that he can keep childe to himself once more without having "problems" to deal with,

both of them went for a morning stroll and talked about what they would do all day.
