Luthor and Scarlet had walked down the road towards the restaurant she mentioned previously, and luthor had tried to think of conversation. "So...what's your story..?" He asked, before he realized how insensitive that could sound and quickly added. "Uh- If It's not too traumatic...!" He spoke with a frightened tone. Scarlet chuckled, her natural voice being so sweet and alluring. It was like drinking a candy flavored wine listening to her speak. "I pay no mind towards my history. When I was a young lass, I had lived with my mom and dad. It was just us, Dad working in a fish packing plant and mom working in a Local business as an accountant." She would stop for a moment. "We'd like a booth please, away from all the folks..." She would inform the server. Being directed there, they would be seated and she would smile. "Now, where was I...? oh yes. We were going out to a restaurant. I believe it was the flying garden, when it was attacked by The Hell Devil. My dad sustained terrible 3rd degree burns and my mother was blinded. I felt so powerless...So I decided to try and always be in power. Hell, it's how I became the leader of the yakuza. I got the role because grandpa Orochi was tired of running the show." She stopped for a second and looked at luthor. "How about you, what's your past?" She didn't seem to be hesitant in asking; just pure confidence.
"My past, huh...?" He chuckled softly. "It ain't pretty. I grew up in the ghetto. I grew up in a world without love, just hate on everyone's mind. Everyone wants to be the day one's, the original gangsters, the homies with the crib. Ain't no time for them, when it came to me. I ain't have no parents, they didn't give enough of a shit about me to have me as their own. I was supposed to grow up in an orphanage, but I ran the first chance I got. I came here and well...The church got ran outta town when they tried to follow." He sighed softly. "I came up and started boxing. I started shifting left and right, making the good moves. But I ended up here, in a fight to try and go professional. A devil came in, and wrecked my fight. Nearly killed me, Killed the dude I was fighting, and countless innocents. I swore that day I wouldn't stop hunting him down to make him pay for ruining my career...then He helped me ruin my life." He finished, and Scarlet seemed to be teeming with anger. She couldn't fathom the hate that was brewing inside, because of her hate for devil's. "I...I'm so sorry to hear that." Scarlet muttered, loud enough to hear but still relatively quiet. "Hey, Hey...let's not caught up in the past...Bad things happen to everyone, but the ones who tell the tale? The real iron men."
She would take a deep breath in, and nod. "Right...Right..." She needed to just breath. She couldn't freak the fuck out, she needed to be in control. "Here, What do ya do for fun..?" Luthor asked a seemingly harmless question to just derail the topic and get into something better. "Ah...I like to fish. Usually find it relaxing
to head down to the southwest pier and just fish. I know the workers there, so as long as their there...I'm safe." She said, and luthor nodded. "I ain't ever been able to fish, But I wouldn't mind trying it out. What else?" A low hum started to eminate from the lady in black, her eyes glancing over to his and seeming to search for an answer. "I love a good karaoke session. Sometimes, I just like going out for a drink." She seemed to run out of just small things to do to pass the time, at least things that are unique. She didn't feel the need to say that she'll flip through channel's on the television or she'll try and scroll around the computer if she's bored, because a lot of folks do that now a days.Luthor smirked. "I haven't been able to drink, but Karaoke? Man, I could always kill for a good song or two on the old jukebox." He said with a soft smile. It was that smile that radiates a kind energy. No matter what he's done, that smile can seem to brighten your day. "Always liked a little elvis presley." He added, as he smirked. "I don't wanna be all alone tonight, so can ya help me make it through the night?" With a little jingle in his voice, and an attempt to emulate elvis, Scarlet found herself chuckling. What she didn't expect was her cheeks to get a little warm. Was she blushing?! How long has it been...since she's actually blushed? "Smooth talkin can only get you so far, till gotta start smooth walkin'." Luthor found himself chuckling, and shook his head. "I can walk the walk, talk the talk, and even run the run." Showing off just a smidge, but he always thought to try and put his best self out there. "I think I can smooth walk with you..." Scarlet smirked as she put her hand out, gently grasping his. His fingers slowly curled as her's gently slid against his palm back and forth, in a simple motion. "You better hope you can." With her sultry tone, Luthor grew red in the face with a nervous chuckle. Soon enough, their waiter came back and asked for their drinks. "oh right, the food!" Luthor and Scarlet laughed softly at each other, completely forgetting the reason they were here. "I'll have a Sweet iced tea." "and Ill have a regular tea, please." The waiter nodded softly, taking luthor and scarlet's order's respectively. Were they even going to eat there, cause they felt like they could just enjoy the time.
