Izuku Dreemurr, A bonafide hero

Growing Up

Sans sits on a bench outside a daycare, sleeping away life's worries. A bell rings signaling the end of the day for the daycare. After a few minutes kids come running out of the daycare to their parents who are waiting for them. Sans remains unaffected by the extra noise, continuing his nap.

???: "Kachan! Thats not nice! Leave the butterfly alone."

Kachan: "Crying about a bug like this, Deku you are a baby."

Deku: "It may be a bug but it's still alive, you can't hurt it just because you can."

Kachan: "Why not I'm bigger and stronger, why can't I?"

Deku: "Because, because its not right!"

Sans opens one eye and sees a little boy with messy brown hair with green tips that Sans knows as Izuku and a boy with spiky sandy blond hair, Sans believes their name was Katsuki, arguing about an injured butterfly that the Izuku is holding. Sans lets out a sigh before sliding off the bench and plopping onto his feet and making his way over to the two kids.

Sans: "Heya kids."

Izuku turns towards Sans running to meet Sans halfway: "Uncle, Uncle Sans it's hurt."

Izuku holds up the butterfly to Sans, and with just a glance Sans can tell the little guy has seen better days. 

Sans holds out his hands: "I'll take it to Tori after I drop you off at home, she'll fix it right up."

Izuku: "Promise."

Sans lets out a sigh: "Man what is with you and your mom having me make promises, but yeah I promise."

Izuku eyes light up and carefully lay the butterfly onto Sans hands.

Izuku: "Can we take a shortcut home?"

Sans: "You bet kiddo, but aren't you forgetting something?"

Izuku thinks for a second before grabbing his bag off his back and checking through it: "I don't think so?"

Sans with his free hand points behind Izuku, who turns around seeing only Katsuki standing there staring at the two. 

Izuku's eyes widen: "OH right."

Izuku quickly puts his bag on his back and runs over to giving him a hug: "Bye Kachan."

Katsuki looks at Sans who's smile remains as his eye disappear leaving empty sockets. Katsuki hugs Izuku back, that skeleton has always creeped him out, but Deku likes him so that skeleton can't be that bad right?

Katsuki: "Bye Deku."

As Izuku turns around to run back over to Sans, Sans's eyes return to normal. With his free hand Sans ruffles up Izuku's hair before walking away with Izuku following close by. 

Izuku turns around waving with both hands above his head: "See you later Kachan."

Katsuki tsks before turning away from them, he sees his mom walking towards the daycare, running over just happy he doesn't need to be near the skeleton anymore.

Izuku giggles as he runs in front of Sans, only for the second he passes Sans he is in the entrance of his home.

Izuku hops up and down: "So cool, do it again, again, please."

Sans chuckles: "Sorry kid, it tires me out, besides where are we going to go?"

Izuku: "To grandma's house!"

Sans chuckles: "Sorry kiddo, your mom told me to bring you home and that's where you're staying, I need to drop this little guy off at Tori's garden. You can visit it later, Uncle Pap is making spaghetti in the kitchen. Why don't you make sure he's added water this time and not milk."
