rapunzel gives me a tour

We stood outside for a couple moments before two boys began to walk towards us, chatting to each other.

One was tall and skinny, with a mop of brown curly hair. He had elfish features and upturned eyebrows and looked as if he was plotting a prank at all times.

The other was slightly taller, with golden messy hair that really, really worked for him and a laid-back smile. Freckles were splattered all over his face. He was cute. Really cute.

"Is it the godly genes that make them all so attractive?" Kai murmured to me under his breath. He was staring quite resolutely at the brown haired boy.

They came to a stop near us and smiled warmly. Well, freckles smiled warmly, whilst Elf stared at Kai. Kai stared back. It seems they were in a staring competition or something.

The other boy turned to me. "Hey, Nailea right?"

"Yeah but you can call me Nai. It's what everyone does."

He grinned at me and my face warmed slightly, "Well, Nai. I'm Lee. Son of Apollo. This is Connor Stoll - a Hermes kid. Do you have any idea who your parent might be?"

I shrugged. Kai had been snapped out of his private bubble with Connor when Lee had mentioned Apollo.

"Yeah, I'm also... Apollo's kid," is what he said, a forced casualness in his tone. Lee grinned and slapped him on the shoulder, saying something like 'welcome to the family'. Connor smiled too, as if Kai being an Apollo kid was a very good thing.

Then Connor spoke.

"Right well, first we've got the tour and that's when you lot ask us anything and everything. Normally the questions are a nuisance, but I bet we can make an exception for you two," he winked at Kai specifically, "I'll take Kai, you take Nailea?" I was more than okay with that.

Kai frowned though,"Wouldn't it make more sense for me to go with Lee? Since he's my half-brother and all?"

I looked between them. They didn't really look similar. Kai had pale skin, which contrasted to Lee's tanned. Kai had dark brown eyes, and Lee did not. But then again, they both had the same laid back smile, and eyes that seemed to glimmer under the sun.

Connor smiled jovially, "No." Then he turned, pulling Kai with him, leaving me and Lee alone. Kai looked over at me again, his eyes wide, but I just winked. A blush rose on his pale skin.

I turned back to Lee. "Well? Where do we start?"

He turned and began walking in another direction, away from the other two. "The tour. Do you actually have lots of questions or have they already been answered? I know you met Apollo and Chiron, plus you were with Percy, Thalia and Grover, so you must have a rough idea."

"Actually, Artemis explained most of it to me. I think I get most of it."

Lee whistled, "You met Artemis too? Impressive. You just got here yet you already know a quarter of Olympus."He joked.

A smile tugged at my lips as he turned back to grin at me, before turning back forwards again.

"So, over here we have the volleyball courts and the arts and crafts building." A few boys and girls were playing on the courts, whereas the Arts and Crafts building looked a bit empty. "It's December right now, so it looks empty but you should see this place in summer. That massive tree over there?" He pointed to a massive pinetree near the edge of the camp."That's Thalia. Or was Thalia."

I frowned in confusion. "What, like the trees name is Thalia?"

He cleared his throat. "No. Thalia - the girl you were with - used to be a pine tree. It's a bit of a sensitive topic but she's better now. Not a tree anymore."
