Begum Sahiba's denial was kind off expected but Mushtaq's? No.

No one could think of what kind of dikkat could Mushtaq had from the rishta of Sajal and Rashid.

"Vo ladki is ghar main humesha ke liye nahi aa sakti." Mushtaq announced like a nawab he was. His fists clenched tight as he glared at his chachijaan for even uttering the alfaaz that could forever bound that badtameez ladki to this haweli.

"Bhabhi, Arifa aur Kazim Bhai ko koi aitraaz nahi tou aap kyun bich main aa rahi hain?" Ruksana let out venomously glaring at Begum Nushrat who stood up showing her palm to everyone, immediately stopping their hushed conversations through eyes.

"Yeh shaadi kisi qeemat par nahi hogi bibi. Rashid ke liye koi aur dhundh lou--"

"Ammi ki baat se sehmat hoon main. Uski shaadi is ghar main hargiz nahi hou gi." Mushtaq too stood up along with his ammi interrupting her inbetween. His nose flared in anger as he stormed out of the hall making Nushrat sigh at her son's attitude as she too stormed away not before saying,

"Ye baat aaj shaam hou gi."

Ruksana gritted her teeth as she stood near Arifa and hollered,

"Arey, ab kya apne bete ki shaadi bhi inse pooch kar karungi main? Arey Sajal par mera bhi haq hai aur fir mera Rashid koi awara tou nahi jo yun sabke seene main aag lag gayi."

"Choti bhabhi aap zara--" Arifa tried to pacify her choti bhabhi but was cut off by Ruksana's loud question,

"Arey, inhe aitraaz kyun hain jab aap ko tou koi aitraaz nahi hai, hain na?"

Arifa looked at her husband helplessly who decided to interrupt the ladies this time,

"Badi bhabhi ne kaha hai ki baat shaam ko hou gi. Toh shaam ko hi hou gi." With this he held his wife's hand in his and dragged her to room to discuss about the sudden bomb dropped on them.

"Ammi kya mila aap ko apni aur meri izzat ka tamasha bana kar?" Rashid yelled at his mother when everyone was out of sight.

"Chup raho tum Rashid. Tum mere bete hou tou mere baap baane ki koshish na karo. Jo kar rahi hoon tum dono ki bhalai ke liye kar rahi hoon. Eklauti ladki hai Kazim Shah ki aur thoda bohot jo bhi hai, tumhara hi hoga. Aur fir meri Ramsha ki baat iske baad chala dungi." Ruksana made her khayali pulao making Rashid frown while Ramsha stood there with a smile on her face hearing the last line.

Naya joda, nayi churiyan
Ab tou Ramsha banegi dulhania.

She mentally danced at the thought of those as she saw her brother and mother discuss the benifits of the marriage.
