It was the night before taking back the wall Maria. In the military head quarters of the district Trost was it extremely quiet. Quieter than it should be. Only in the captains room was the the light still on.

He just said it's really important for you to see." Levi took the letter and thanked Hanji quickly. Levi closed the door with a slight smile on his lips and went over to the desk. He let himself fall back into his chair. He opened the letter and saw the pretty hand writing of the young man:

I'm sorry if it seems like I can't talk to you in person.

Levi's heart sank into his stomach. Why would HE write something like this on a letter. He looked outside the window to the wall of the district Trost and thought about tomorrows mission. Would it go right or would it be a complete fail. Would he loose Eren or any of his comrades again?
