Kai

When you and Kai had picked Phoenix up from Nya's house, she told you that she'd left him alone for five minutes. She said that when she came back a patch in her carpet was black, like it had been burnt. Phoenix couldn't, or wouldn't, tell her how it happened. You and Kai shrugged it off and didn't think much of it... Until today...

You stare in horror as the carpet in Phoenix's room burns to dust

"Kai!!!" You scream, beginning to walk into the fire to get Phoenix. Kai runs to you, sees what's happening and pulls you out of the fire

"Oh no..." Kai sighs

"Let me go!! Our sons in there!!" You scream, trying to break free of his grasp

"Y/N, it looks like he got elemental powers, and they, like mine, are fire. The fire can't injure him." Kai tells you.

But the monastery will burn down...

You scream when an idea comes to your mind "Zane!!" He comes running

"Yes Y/N?" Zane asks. You turn to the burning room

"Can you put this out please?"

"Of course" Zane lifts his arm and shoots ice crystals onto the fire, putting it out.

"Thanks" Kai breathes as you run to Phoenix.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt?" You look at him and scan his body, looking for burns

"Mom, I'm fine" he says

"I see my son has gotten some amazing powers" Kai smiles and walks up behind you

"You bet I did!" Phoenix exclaims, he stands up fully and walks to Kai

"Try not to burn the monastery down though." Kai jokes

"Yeah, I've gotta work on that..." Kai pats Phoenix on the back

"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it."

"This will be interesting....".

Zane

Zane is reading while you clean up around the monastery. You walk into Fawns room but stop when you see her sitting on the floor, staring intently at a glass of water

"Fawn, what are you doing?" You ask, only to be shushed by your daughter "Fawn Marie Ju-" she cuts you off

"Mom, I'm trying to concentrate" she says, you cock your head to one side and watch her.

After a few more seconds she squeezes her eyes shut and ice blasts out from her hands, breaking the glass and pouring water all over her floor

"Not exactly what I was going for, but I guess that works." She stands up

"Fawn...? How...?" You stare, flabbergasted at your daughter

"I froze my water at school the other day, nobody saw, but I wanted to try again"
