IT got worse.

"I have an announcement for you all. There was a bit of trouble the other day, an incident between the student sitting there, Sudou, and some students from Class C. In short, there was a fight."

Of course, the classroom erupted to chaos. Chabashira laid the whole situation bare for the class. Her face was so devoid of emotion or interest... She inserted absolutely no personal bias whatsoever when she addressed the class and explained the situation from a position of neutrality.

"Umm. So why hasn't this issue been resolved already?" Hirata asked a rather reasonable question.

"The complaint came from Class C. They claim that the fight was one- sided. However, when we spoke to the accused, Sudou said that their claims were false. He insists that the students from Class C called him over and started the fight."

"It wasn't my fault! It was self-defense! Self-defense, I tell you!" shouted Sudou as he shouldered his classmates' icy glares.

"But there's no evidence of that. Am I wrong?"

"I do have evidence! Shinjiro was with me!"

As he said that, his classmates' icy glares turned to me instead. Come on, don't look at me like that... In spite of that, I talked as I stood up.

"It's true. I intervened when I saw the fight happening."

"Alright Shinjiro, but even if you intervene and saw the fight happen, Sudou has no apparent injuries while the other three students do. Also, the students claimed that you walked in right as Sudou was already on the offensive, was that correct?"

I looked at Sudou and he was balling his fists.

"I'm sorry Sudou. Yes, what you said are correct."

"Urgh, damn it!" Sudou slammed his fist on the table.

"Even then, we still don't have concrete evidence of who started the fight. Shinjiro here is a valuable witness but without video or photographic evidence, he can't exactly support Sudou here. He's also a Class D student, I don't think he'll have much credibility without concrete evidence."

"I see."  Was all I responded as I sat back down.

"So in other words, we don't yet know the truth. Therefore, we have put our decision on hold for now. Our response, and the punishment, will come when we find out who was at fault." Chabashira stated.

"All I know is that I'm innocent. If anything, I ought to receive a settlement for my trouble."

"So speaks the accused... but I wouldn't say that you have a high level of credibility right now. If there is an eyewitness besides Shinjiro, with actual visual evidence, then the situation may change. If anyone here witnessed the fight, please raise your hand."

I raised my hand because I obviously witnessed the fight as I previously stated to the class, however nobody else rose their hand. I looked around the room to appear natural and stared directly at Sakura for a good couple of seconds, then to Horikita and Ayanokouji before returning my attention to Chabashira.

"It's unfortunate, Sudou. It appears there are no witnesses besides Shinjiro in this class." Chabashira stated.

"Tch... It sure looks that way." he groused.

When Chabashira-sensei cast a doubtful look at Sudou, he glanced downward.

"In order to check for witnesses, every teacher will inform their classes of the details of this incident."

"Huh?! You're telling everyone?!"

Sudou's plan has already failed.

"Damn it!" Sudou hammer fisted his hand onto his forehead. It wasn't looking good for our typical, dumb, hot-tempered, athletic dude.
