Chapter 5.1

IN the special annex building...

Three students have entered the building and are now walking towards the area where the fight had happened.

Ishizaki, Komiya and Kendou.

The reason for this is due to Kushida Kikyou. A popular Class D student who has extraordinary charisma and is a very beautiful girl.

She personally went out to contact them, asking for a private place to talk, preferably the area where the fight took place in the special annex building. Simply to talk about the events that unfolded that day, as she wants to hear both sides of the story.

It has been some time after the debate had unfolded. The three Class C students agreed to meet up with Kushida.

If it had been any other Class D student, they would've declined. Rather, they would have no choice but to decline unless ordered otherwise.

"Is it possible Kushida could confess to us after she's done talking?" Kendou asked.

Indeed, Kushida was a very beautiful girl. She was popular in all 4 classes of this grade. In fact, her name has begun spreading in the 2nd-year.

However—

"Probably not," Ishizaki shook his head. "She'll just have a conversation with us regarding what happened on June 29th."

When nearing the area, they would smell perfume. A perfume very familiar. It triggered their memory, and in an instant, they recalled who it belongs to. They stopped in place.

"Hey... that's Kushida's smell. She's already here."

They have passed Kushida many times. Everyone would know the perfume Kushida she uses. It's a very distinct smell. She usually sprays a lot of perfume, likely because she's gotten accustomed to her own perfume. While nobody says anything, it's very noticeable.

As they turned around the corner, a faint beep was heard. 'Was that ever there?' they wondered. However, it was very faint, so it's entirely possible they could've missed hearing it. There, a figure was standing, leaning back against the wall. Since they smelt the perfume from the corner, the figure was quite near them.

"...The source of the perfume came from... whoever the hell he is?"

The man was the one wearing the same perfume Kushida usually uses. 'It wasn't as if Kushida were the only one using that perfume', Ishizaki reckoned. However, in Ishizaki's eyes, it was odd a man was using perfume and not cologne.

The man seems to be somewhat above average height. He was a student at this school, due to his uniform. He has dirty blonde hair, with blue glasses and azure eyes. His skin tone was slightly pale, and his blazer was not buttoned up. He displayed an aura of cool detachment and confidence.

"Who are you?" Ishizaki called out to him. He started walking towards the blonde student but simply moved back. He moved back about 10 or so meters to maintain a safe distance.

"Someone who likes money."

"And your name?"

"My name does not matter," he said in a deep, nonchalant drawl. "You three are late, but I suppose punctuality wasn't part of the deal."

"Deal?"

The three of them looked at each other.

By the words he chose, it appeared as if Kushida either lied or this student deceived the three Class C students, texting as if he was truly Kushida.

However, it was odd. It was clearly Kushida's account.

Was it hacked? Did Kushida know?

The perfume was also strange as well. It was the same perfume Kushida used, at a similar intensity.
