Brooklyn's Red Carpet ep. 4- "Golly G Minor!"

Chapter 7

Nigel tried to memorize his song again.

"I've got it! It's all very clear to me now, Patrick!" he said. 

"It is?" said Patrick with hope.

"Yes. I finally realized that I can't do it! I can't do it, Patrick!" Nigel cried.

"Don't talk like that!" said Patrick.

"Clean your glasses, lad! I can't memorize that song! I can't play A major, C sharp minor, D major, E major, C major, F sharp minor, C sharp 7, B minor and F sharp major in that order!" said Nigel.

As he said that, he was literally playing the song.

"Nigel? You just did" said Patrick.

"I did?"

"You did"

"Blimey! I guess I can do it" said Nigel.

Patrick patted him on the shoulder and said "Let's go".

The two boys made their way back to the hotel and presented themselves to the people in the lounge.

"Hey! Nigel's back! They're together again!" they were saying. 

Frank and Edward were there too when the boys returned.

"I head Ledger is back!" said Edward.

"I'm right here, Preston!" said Nigel.

"I thought I ran you out of town!" Edward spat.

"This is where I belong!" said Nigel bluntly.

"Very well! Play that song again and this time... don't make a mistake with a chord" said Edward leaning over the sheet music stand.

Nigel and Patrick played their song again and got it right. 

However...

"Still wrong chord! You failed again Nigel Ledger!" Edward laughed.

However, as he leaned over the sheet music stand to laugh in his face, Nigel noticed Edward's hand was moving.

He grabbed it and noticed that he staged the humiliation.

"Patrick, look! He's been writing G minor chords on the sheet music the whole time!" said Nigel.

"So he has!" said Patrick.

"Edward! Why?" said Frank.

"Come on, Frank! We're getting out of here! They're just too smart!" said Edward.

He dragged Frank out of the hotel. 

"Three cheers for the return of Patrick's best buddy Nigel!" Paris exclaimed.

"Hooray! Hooray! Hooray!" the entire hotel cheered.
