(Y/N) P.O.V.

I was in the back seat of the car, with my backpack and other belongings beside me. In attempt to talk more, Hana started to tell me about Ame and Yuki.

Hana: Yuki well be excited to see you, she has been asking me when she would get a new brother!

(Y/N): What about Ame?

Hana: I think he'll be excited as well. He's a bit quiet, so don't think that he hates you.

(Y/N): What about the dad?

I saw Hana's face falter for a moment, and after a while, she told me that the father didn't live with them anymore. I asked where he went. She responded back that he wasn't alive anymore.

(Y/N): My parents are also gone.

Hana: We can be a family together then.

I smiled at this and said, "Yes, let's be a family." After that we just sat in silence, with the rushing buildings slowly turning into trees. Then when I took a good look, I noticed that we have been driving for a long time, since I only saw a few buildings and people, and more trees and bigger mountains.

(Y/N): Ms. Atarashihi? Where are we going?

Hana: (Nervous)Home. It's in the mountains. We could hike together sometime.

(Y/N): Yes please! I've also lived in a cabin in the forest when I wasn't at the orphanage.

Hana: *Relieved* Great! So, living around nature isn't new for you?

(Y/N): Nope, as a matter of fact, my parents would often camp in the weekends.

Hana: I think you'll get along just fine with Ame and Yuki.

She said with a grin. We rode a long chatting happily, until I fell asleep. When I woke up, I was at the front of a house, in the middle of the forest. I got my belongings and slowly walked to the front of the house, nervous to go in. As if reading my mind, Hana put her hand on my back, stating it would be okay, and pushed me lightly along with her. We finally went into the house. When I entered, my heightened sense of sell picked up on a canine scent. This was weird because there were no dogs here, at least not in sight. Instead, there were two children in the living room. Once they heard us, they immediately looked up. The girl, (which I assume is Yuki)immediately ran up to us, and hugged Hana. After hugging Yuki back, Yuki then turned towards me with a giant grin.

Yuki: Hi! I'm Yuki your new sister! And I'm also a human!(Y/N): Um... I'm (Y/N). I'm your other brother then.

While Yuki was hugging me while jumping up and down, I saw Hana give Yuki a look to calm down. I think it was also because what Yuki said was weird. Seriously, "I'm also a human"? That was strange. I didn't have too much time to think about it because Hana also waved at Ame to come over after giving Yuki a look.

Ame: (Quiet) Hello. I'm Ame, your brother.

Hana: Ame? Would you show (Y/N) his room? I need to talk to Yuki for moment.

Ame: Follow me.

I followed Ame to the room while Hana was going to talk to Yuki. 

We just walked in silence until I asked Ame if he explored the forest at the back of the house.

Ame: No. Its too scary for me. I just want to stay home with mom.

(Y/N): What about Yuki?

Ame: She likes the mountains. She regularly goes outside to... play around with what she sees

(Y/N): And what about you?   

Ame: I just stay inside and read books. Sometimes I'll go out with Yuki.

(Y/N): Can I come with you guys?

Ame: ...Sure.

3rd P.O.V. (While Ame and (Y/N) were away)

Hana (mildly exasperated): Yuki, you need to act more natural and calmer when (Y/N) is around. He just got here from the orphanage.

Yuki: But moooom! I want to tell (Y/N) about our secret now!

Hana: I know. I do too. But (Y/N) still needs to get used to us. Okay? We'll tell him eventually.

Yuki: (dejected) Okay.

After talking about it, Ame and (Y/N) came into the room.

Hana: Have you settled down?

(Y/N): Yes ma'am. I have.

Hana: Great, who wants lunch?           

The children: ME!

Hana: Good, let me make something while you set the table.

(Y/N) P.O.V.

While Ame and Yuki were getting eating utensils, I went to a cabinet. I looked inside but nothing used for eating. I got up and started to leave, until I saw a card with a photo of a man. I didn't know who he was, so I asked Hana.

(Y/N): Mrs. Atarashihi? Who is this person?

Hana came over and looked to where I was pointing.

Hana: That is my husband, father of Yuki and Ame. If he were here, he would have been happy to meet you to.

I felt comforted at this statement, but a new one came into my mind: "Did you have any pet dogs with him? I think I smell a dog in this house." I saw Hana tense up for a moment, as if thinking. This is strange, the house smells a little like wolf, Yuki first said, "I'm a human", and Hana keeps tensing up on random times. I think Hana must've seen my face with suspicion because she quickly changed her demeanor and said back:

Hana: Oh, it must be the wolves that live out into the forest. You can hear the howling sometimes. Now let's go, I've finished dinner.

We both went to join Ame and Yuki at the table for dinner and started to eat the teriyaki beef.

(Y/N): Have you guys seen wolves around here?

Yuki: I have! Mom, Ame, and I were planting potatoes with the help of Mr. Nagasaki, and we hear a bark nearby. We all turned around and saw a fox and a wolf together!

(Y/N): Were they fighting?

Ame: I don't think so. It looked like they were just running together. There wasn't any fighting.

Yuki: Yeah, it looked like they were having fun!

(Y/N): What happened next? 

Hana: We don't know, Mr. Nirasaki brought our attention so that we could continue planting the potatoes.

3 rd P.O.V.

During the whole dinner, the Atarashihi family bonded with (Y/N). There were smiles and laughs from each of them, it was as if (Y/N) had lived with them their whole life. After dinner, everybody started to clean up and get ready for bed.

*Time Skip*

Hana was tucking (Y/N) in bed after she tucked in Ame and Yuki, when she asked a question:

Hana: (Y/N)? Do you believe in werewolves?(Y/N): (After some thought) Yes. I do believe that they might exist.

Hana: Are you afraid of them?

(Y/N): No. I think I might want to meet one someday.

Hana: Alright, there is a secret that I want to tell you sometime this week.

(Y/N): Okay.

As Hana went to turn off the light and leave, (Y/N) said something:

(Y/N): Mom? Thank you for adopting me.

Hana looked surprised, but then smiled and said, "Of course dear. Sleep well, we have a day of shopping tomorrow. Good night." She finally left when her new son said good night. She went to the living room with tears of joy in her eyes and looked at the license card that had Ookami.

"We did it my love. We have a new child."
