- 3RD POV -

Y/n was doing their part of holding watch, nothing special really. their boyfriend carl where on a run so they couldn't go bother him either.
Sitting crisscrossed with their legs and their chin resting in on their hand, y/n let out a sigh.
It sounded more like a groan.

That was until Ron, walked up to y/n.
" hey, n/n I'll take your chore. Carls back and I thought you might want to see him." Ron said, with a shrug. He stretched out a hand for y/n to grasp.
To which they grabbed and said " thanks man , I owe you one!" Then y/n ran to see their boyfriend.

"Psh, yeah you do." Ron said in a low voice.
You see, Y/n and Ron have been best friends, since your group arrived in Alexandria.
Ever since you arrived carl was acting weird.
I mean sure he was pretty clingy and protective before. But now? It was a whole new level.

Y/n saw Carl looking around for them, calling out their name. " Y/n ?!" He yelled looking around.
" Carl! " they yelled back, running towards him.
He looked in their direction, he started running towards them.

They embraced each other, carl being taller than
y/n. As y/n hug his waist, Carl whispers " God I miss you." Making Y/n smile.

TIME SKIP !

Y/n and Carl were both in bed, cuddled up to each other. With y/n's head on carls chest, and Carl soothingly playing with y/n's hair.
Y/n felt their eyes grow heavy,as they snuggled closer to Carl and fell asleep.

Carl noticed that Y/n's breathing changed into a softer steady rhythm. As he continued petting his beloveds hair. He slowly spoke up, quietly he said looking up at the ceiling. " oh my dear. You don't know what I would do for you, or the way I killed that boy for you, the way I slashed open his neck.
The blood that was flowing out like rivers, the sound of him choking on his own blood was so ... beautiful.
I want to hold you for eternity.
I want to be the only one that makes you smile, cry, mad. I will do everything and anything to keep you with me, no matter what you or anyone else says or does."

He was still petting Y/n's hair. Y/n had woke up but just pretend to sleep, until Carl grabbed a hold of their chin, making them hold intense eye contact.

" I love you so so fucking much."
As y/n's eyes were filled with fear.
Carl just smiled lovingly at them and pulled them back to their original position.

" and you will love me back."
