1 year later

I got up from my desk and put away my paperwork.

The day was finally over.

I walked out of my office and went to Alexander's office

I walked in "hey babe" I said as I closed the door behind me

"Oh hey babe"  he replied,looking up from his desk.

"What brings you here?" He added

"I just wanted to say I'm heading home and I don't want you home late" I said as I sat down in the chair across from his desk

"I know,but you know I have to get the paperwork done" Alex said as he moved his papers to the side

"Well yeah,but that doesn't mean you have to work non-stop! There's always tomorrow!" I said,getting a little upset

Alexander has been coming home really late.

And to be honest I'm getting kind of pissed.

He leaves me home alone.

Is never there for me.

He always puts work before his own husband.

"I know,look I'm sorry. Here,how about we both go home and talk this out." Alexander said

I scoffed "you said that last time.." I said quietly to my self

He sighed,and put his papers away

"Come on. Let's go home. I'll take the day off tomorrow and we can spend some time together like how we use to" He said,and got up and took my hand.

"..alright" I said and got up and kissed him on the cheek.

We got home and I just walked up stairs to our room.

I was still a little upset at Alexander

Putting work before me?..

I'd never do that to him!...but why would he do it to me..

I just laid in bed,thinking about us..and..other stuff..

I've been hiding something from Alexander.

For a wile..

I've wanted to start a family with him..

But he'd probably say no to they idea..since he has so much "work" to do or because the idea is to much work..

I then hear someone walk into the room

It was Alex

"Hey babe" he said as he sat next to me

I didn't say anything

"Look I know you're upset,and I want to make it up to you" he added

"I'll tell you what will make it up" I started "if you promise not to get upset about it.." I added

"I promise whatever it is,I'll make it happen. No matter how crazy it might be" He said

"Fine.." I said as I sat up

"I..want to start a family,I want kids Alexander. I want us to have a happy family. A happy life. Just think of how happy our lives can become " I added

Alexander was flustered at what I said

"I'll think about it babe." he said and got up and kissed me quickly and walked out of the room.

I knew it was a bad idea to tell him..

I lied back down and thought about it

He did say that he'll do whatever it takes,even if it's crazy..

But he was probably just said that to make me feel better...

He isn't ready..he..wasn't ready..

As my mind was racing with though my eyes felt heavy and I fell asleep
