The Dark Lord was seen waving his wand around trying to rid himself of the revolting stench of the stink bomb, Peter was trying to stop himself from gagging behind the corpse like man.
Finally the green smoke dissolved into the air thanks to Voldemort's refreshing spell. The camera panned to the ginger mother and her teary eyed son rushing around the brightly coloured nursery room, it seemed as if she was looking for something.
"Where is it? Where is the cloak, the portkey? Anything!?" The woman muttered furiously under her breath. Heavy footfalls were heard from the outside hallway causing the red head to still her frantic searching.
Marlene Mckinnon, who was sat next to her best friend, let out a small cry as she knew what would happen next. Lily brought the normally fiery girl into her arms in a warm, familiar embrace.
Lily's face fell with dread, but it was soon replaced with an expression of determination. She calmly placed baby Harry into his plush cot which was filled with soft, fluffy toys and a small blanket he was given when he was born.
The heartbroken woman placed a delicate hand on the child's chest, directly over his heart, as she began to speak in a quiet whisper only the boy and herself would be able to hear.
"Harry, my brave boy, mama loves you so so much as does your papa, we will watch over you and try are best to keep you safe from wherever we end up. Know we will stand by you and trust your judgment in whichever path you take." A soft glow emitted from her palm as the boy calmed down.
"What was that?" A stunned voice said from somewhere in the hall.
"She transferred her love to him, which in the long run will probably help him by strengthening his magical core." An awed voice answered.
The adults in the room were amazed by what the muggle-born had done for her child, how powerful must she be to be able to pull off such a spell.
As the footsteps grew closer to the boys room Lily stood from her knelt position, turning towards the door that would be barged through at any moment. Her wand held in a strong, slightly shaking, hand was ready to protect her son to the best of her abilities.
Suddenly the door was thrown from its hinges, wooden debris flying from the small explosion. There, in the doorway, stood the intimidating figure of Lord Voldemort, with the cowering shadow that was Pettigrew behind him.
"Please don't harm him, please don't harm my son." Lily begged the Dark Lord, though it was a futile attempt as the male shot her down with two words.
"Avada Kedavra!" A powerful green light filled the screen as the spell made contact with the Potter woman's chest, her legs gave out from beneath her body, falling into a heap on the floor, never to see the light of day once more.
Chocked sobs echoed around the hall, Lily Evans squished in the embrace of her friends and future family. Though the Evans girl was not worried for herself, she was worried for her defenceless child that was still stuck in a room, all on his lonesome, with his parents murderer.
The thump of his mothers body hitting the floor caused little Harry to wale, salty tears falling from his eyes, rolling down his flushed, chubby cheeks. Voldemort turned to the child, his piercing red eyes burning holes into the child's vibrant green ones.
"So this is the wizard who is meant to cause my downfall?" the horse mutter rumbled from the Dark Lords chest. "I would hate to spill unnecessary magical blood, but this is for a good cause. My cause." The man continued talking to himself, the rat man behind him still cowering.
Raising his wand towards the defenceless child, dry lips forming the words that had ended Harry's parents lives, green light shooting from the tip of his wand landing on the child's head, when suddenly the light rebounded and struck the casters own chest.
Dust filled the screen, the distant sound out a scream muffled by the sound of a shattering window filled the hall before the screen turned black.
