jalen came up with the perfect way to apologize to olivia. he went to the store to get it this morning before olivia even woke up.
he bought a bouquet of red roses and set everything up on the island in the kitchen.
we waited for olivia to come downstairs, once she did, he waited for her in the kitchen.
"what's this?" she asked furrowing her eyebrows looking at the box and the roses.
"it's for you," he said. "open it." he asked eagerly.
olivia opened the box to reveal a piece of paper that read, "i want to wear his initial on a chain 'round my neck, chain 'round my neck."
she set the piece of paper aside and looked in the box. it was a gold chain with a 'j' on it.
then it clicked that it was a lyric from call it what you want by taylor swift, and he gave her his initial.
she asked him to put the chain on for her, which he did.
"do you like it?" he asked putting the clasp on.
"i love it, jalen. thank you." olivia replied.
