My name is Mia Jenkins. I am the most popular girl in the school. People might say that I am the bully, but honestly they deserve every single thing that happens to them. I have red curly hair and glasses, but never in a million years would I let anybody see me in glasses unless they are sun glasses. I am at the top of all the kids, I am like the Queen of the school.
The two other most popular girls in the school are my friends Layla. People say she has anger issues but honestly I see nothing wrong with her. She has blond hair but isn't as pretty as me. Then there is Hanna. She is way far from the top, but we let her hang with us anyways. She has wavy blond hair. Its defiantly not as pretty as mine but whatever.
"Hey Mia," my friend Layla greeted me, as I hopped out of my cherry red car. It wasn't the nicest car but my mom refuses to get me a new one. She says that this one is just fine and that it is only a year old. That's my point it's a year old I need a new one!
"Hey Layla," I said back to her. I grabbed my bag and walked into school. We made our way to our lockers, shoving anyone in our way. "what are you looking at?" I asked some nerdy little freshman.
"N-n-nothing," she said and turned her head away from mine.
"Yeah, sure you wern't," I replied and then slammed closed her locker door. "Now next time you I catch you looking at me give me a better answer." I turned around only to find Mia yelling at a kid that must have ran into her. "Layla, beat the kid up later we have to meat Hanna at our lockers!" I said.
"Fine," she shoved the kid to the ground. "If I see you after school you're going down!" she yelled as she walked away.
We made our way to our lockers. When we got there we found a very mad Hanna. "what's wrong with you this time?" Layla asked her seeming ticked off.
"Well, for one thing you guys are late again, and stupid James dumped me, literally. I was in the car this morning and he said that we needed to talk. I didn't think it would be about us so I said okay. Then he just came clean with it and was just like I am dumping you now get out of the car. I just looked at him for a minute puzzled by what he had just said. Then he unbuckled me, opened the car door and shoved me out," she said. Then she started crying.
"Seriously he just shoved you out of the car?" I asked.
"Yeah he just shoved me out! I just don't get it? I don't understand why he dumped me," she said.
"I'm sorry Hanna just ignore him from now on," I said to her. Her outfit was muddy and wet from being shoved out of the car.
She looked down at her outfit. "I am going to beat him so hard when I see him again," she said. "It was his mistake he deserves what he is going to get." Then she ran of to the bathroom. "Shit first period will start in about five minutes," she said as running.
I looked at Layla "Well, we might as well go to our class," I said. We all have the same class schedule. We have had the same one since we were freshmen and now we are seniors. Thank goodness this is our last year in this prison.
"Yeah we might as well," Layla said. "hey there's James, should we get a good punch at him?" She asked.
"No I think we should leave that to Hanna," I said. "or she could get the first punch and then join in with her," I said with a smirk on my face and realized I was staring at him. I must have looked away to late because he was on his way over to us.
"Hey, I uh, saw you staring at me. You like what you see?" He asked.
Why would Hanna ever want to go out with this stupid pathetic boy. "Nope, all I see is some jerk that dumped my friend." I said then shoved him out of my way and kept walking, well at least tried to. He pulled me back and grabbed my arm. "Let go of me," I yelled and then pulled away. Wow, I was a lot stronger than I thought. I was a cheerleader but that's the only thing that involved jumping or anything sports like.
He just stared at me as I walked away. Sure he was cute but I had a boyfriend and he dumped Hanna and just left her on the side of the road. I snapped out of my dream when Layla started yelling at me. "what," I said.
"Well, for one you look like an idiot with that look on your face and for two the bell just rang can we please go into the classroom before we get detention my mom is already ticked with me for skipping school and getting detention again and no way do I want to get my phone taken away," she said. Then she shoved me through the door without any warning.
I stumbled a little when she pushed the door but I managed to not fall. I took my usual seat, back row right corner. Layla took her seat beside me and Hanna should have been in the seat in front of me but she wasn't there.
"Looks like Hanna is still crying like a little baby," said Layla. Then she snickered.
We didn't see Hanna at any of our classes so after we finished our small salads we went to look for her. Yeah that's right the only thing I had was a tiny little salad because around my friends I am a vegitarian and don't eat like a pig, but it's a whole different story when I get home.
We found Hanna in the fourth bathroom stall still crying.
"Hanna get the hell out of the stall and stop crying," Layla yelled and then pounded on the stall. "Mia already made a fool of him. You can go get a good punch on him while he is still embarrassed."
She opened the door just a crack. Her cheeks were red and puffy. "Really Hanna, You are not going out looking like a pig rolled around in the mud you need to get cleaned up and show him what he's going to miss now that you're not his anymore.
"Mia just shut up ok I don't care what you think I look like and I'm not really in the mood to beat him up or look nice I don't really care what I look like right now," she said.
"Okay then whatever" I said. She didn't seem very happy with me or Layla so I decided not to say anything else.
"Come on Mia lets just go and leave the poor baby to cry alone," Layla said in a whisper.
"Ok I'm coming. Now I see why James broke up with her she is way to emotional," I said
Lunch was almost over when we got back so we just sat down at our usual table that only the popular kids get to sit at.
"So, how did it go with Hanna," Drew said. Drew has been my boyfriend since we where sophomores.
"Well, she is still crying like a little baby, but she will eventually get over it. I hope." I said.
The bell rang after about two minutes. I got up but before I left Drew gave me a nice kiss on the lips.
"Ew, gross come on Mia. Let's not be late for class," Layla said. Then she grabbed me by the arm and started pulling me away.
"You should be used to the kissing by now, and since when do you care about being on time for class," I said.
"If you were listing earlier you would know that I have already gotten enough detention's and if I get another my mom will take my phone and know way on earth can I live without my baby," she said.
"Whatever you're just jealous that you can't get a boyfriend, let alone one like Drew!" I said. She didn't seem to like that response. Then she pushed me to get me to start walking.
