The next morning I woke up earlier than usual my alarm clock hadn't gone off yet it still had about ten minutes to go, but I got up anyways. I decided to make my bed this morning since I actually had time. After I was done I went into my own bathroom that was connected to my room and took a shower.
After a bout twenty minutes I got out and dried off. I dried my hair off and then straightened it because I didn't really want to deal with my curly hair. After it was straightened it I put it up into a messy bun. I know it's kind of weird to straighten it and put it in a bun, but when you have curly hair like mine you have to.
I went to go pick out my outfit. I put on a pair of skinny jeans and a tight t-shirt and some wedges. I did my makeup and went downstairs.
I walked into the kitchen and put a poptart in the toaster and waited. I was the only one awake right now because Maddie didn't have school today. It was so unfair but whatever.
The poptart finally popped. I pulled it out of the toaster and sat it on a plate. I sat down on a bar stool at the counter and bargain to eat my strawberry poptart. Once I was done I put my plate in the sink and was ready to go when I realized that I didn't have my phone.
I ran back upstairs to grab it. I saw my iPod sitting on the table beside my bed instead of my phone. Then I remembered what happened yesterday. My mom had taken my phone and I have to use my iPod now.
I grabbed it and went back downstairs. I grabbed my bag and my car keys, then I was out the door. I hopped into my car, start it, and pulled out of the driveway. I turned on the radio and my favorite song was on, Blown Away by Carrie Underwood. I turned it up and sang along with it.
There is not enough ran in Oklahoma to was the sins out of that house.
There is not wind in Oklahoma to rip the nails of the past.
Shatter every window till it's all blown away.
Every brick, every board, every slamming door flown away.
Till there is nothing left standing, nothing left to yesterday.
My family and friends that have herd me sing say I have an amazing voice, but I don't believe them I think that I sing bad. Yet, I love to sing along to music.
**********
I pulled into the parking lot at school. I had about ten minutes before school started. It was probably the earliest I have ever been to school. I turned off my car and got out. I walked up to the school. Layla or Hanna wern't here yet. I texted them to see when they would be here.
I continued walking to get to my locker to wait. Then Layla running through the hall to get to the lockers when she get's there she has a smile on her face. "What's up with you?" I asked.
"Well you know how I don't have a boyfriend?" she asked.
"Yeah," I said getting a little excited. If she says that she has a boyfriend maybe she won't be as pushy.
"Well, this guy came up to me and asked me to go out with him!" She said in a squealing voice. She even jumped a little.
"So, what did you say to him?!" I asked, still excited.
"I told him Hell No. Why on earth would I go out with you! Then I slapped him in the face and walked away," she said still grinning.
"Really? You had the chance to have a boyfriend and you did that to him?" I asked with a puzzled look on my face.
