- Until you actually proved it, via communication with a wild Pokémon
- Nothing about your friendship seems abnormal though because of your talent...
- If you two are also rivals, that could actually go towards your advantage, because his Pokémon are real chatterboxes
- "Wally, your Pokémon talk a lot, mostly about your game plan. It's like being spoiled to a movie you were excited to watch. Please get them to stop?" "Ah....Oh dear... Well, I don't really know how..."

- Until he was attacked by ghost Pokémon and you somehow got them to calm down really quickly
- "How did you do that?" "I already told you how Allister..."
- Wants you to translate for the ghost Pokémon he goes to visit at night in his free time
- Secretly fanboys over you because of your talent, he wishes he could talk to Pokémon as easily as you can
