Wilbur wakes up, breathing heavily.

In cold sweat, and in an unknown location.

Where was he again.

He looked around, his vision slowly adjusting.

He realized that one of his glasses's panels were cracked, and mainly focused using his other eye.

He was in a city.

In the dark.

“Oh you have to be kidding me” he mumbles, getting up from the road.

“Maybe give me a better place to land on?” He says, not really to anyone in particular.

“No, it's fun to bother you” said a particular voice.

No, he thought he was alone.

Peering behind him, he sees Persona.

He groans, rolling his eyes. “You again?” He says.

“That's right!” Persona says in an upbeat tone.

“You want to know where we are?” they asked, seeming excited. Wilbur could only pray that it wasn't horrible or something like that.

“Where are we..” Wilbur asked, trying to hold in his anger and sourness. This was draining, and frankly he wants to have this stop.

“New York City!” Persona says. But something didn't feel right, why would they put him in a remotely normal area. Why was this more normal.

And it's like, the universe heard him.

Because a black van swiveled right by them, with what seems to be robots driving them. robots with for some reason alien like brains in their chest.

Wilbur shouldn't be surprised, but he is.

“Let's go check it out!” Persona says, grabbing Wilbur and flying in the air, following the van.

Naturally Wilbur would've fought back, but since he's in the air and doesn't have his wings, he behaves.

Persona seems to have flied their whole life, gliding sharply in turns and spaced in between buildings while keeping a fast pace up. One could say, they were a pro at this. Genuinely.

Persona drops him on the roof of the van, as a thud could be heard once Wilbur made contact with it. “What the fuck?!” He yelled, panicking slightly. Persona just laughed, sitting next to him.

They seemed like good friends one might say, how their tension was replaced with pure joy, laughter, forgetting they were enemies.

The van comes to a halt, Wilbur nearly flying off. He ducks, but Persona doesn't, just watching.

Out comes the bots, who seem to have seen both on the top, holding what seems to be laser guns. “Freeze human” one of them said. Persona raised a brow, while Wilbur was freaking out. He slowly sits up, raising his hands up. He eyes Persona, who seems oddly calm. Way, too calm.
