PRESENT TIME
____________Wystan was sent off on a mission to eliminate some elves that are in the way of some plans that the dark elves have.
He never understood why killing was necessary, but he wasn't in any position to argue. He was only an assassin after all. They are to carry out their missions, no matter how evil or dangerous they might be.
But now he was having second thoughts. How was he going to carry this out? He has never killed someone before. Yet, he was considered one of the best.
He's currently stalking one of his victims, trying to figure out the best time to strike.
When the victim seemed to be distracted by something, he jumped out and attacked. But, he only knocked them unconscious, not ready to finish the job.
That was before an elf from a backup team jumped out and finished his victim off.
"What are you doing? Are you betraying us?!" The elf in question grabbed him by the collar.
"No- No, I was going to, I swear-" He was cut off as the elf tightened their grasp around his collar.
"Let him go."
He gasped for air as he felt being freed.
"It seems this job is too.. stressful for you." The leader of his team glared at him.
"Wait-"
"No, I've already contacted the Headmistress of Alfea in case you failed this mission. Now that you have, I will be sending you there for you to finally do something useful." The leader held up his hand and used his magic to put Wystan to sleep and teleport him away.

Alfea's potionology teacher was on his lunch break, so he decided to patrol the gates for a little bit.
What he wasn't expecting was to find a dark elf passed out in front of the gates.
He rushed to the elf's side, checking his pulse.
"Hmm.. He seems to be doing just fine. How'd he get here..?" He asked himself.
He decided to use his magic to wake the elf up. The elf's eyes immediately opened wide and he got into a defensive stance.
"Woah, calm down. I'm not going to hurt you." The teacher put his hands up.
"Who are you? And what is this place?"
The teacher smiled. "My name is Palladium. I'm a professor here at Alfea."
"Palladium.." The elf repeated as he looked the professor up and down.
This man looks just like him.. But he died years ago..
"Do I have something on my face?"
Wystan looked up at the brunette. "No- No, sorry."
Palladium just smiled and held his hand out for Wystan to take.
