it had been weeks but Cupid was having trouble locating Rose's soulmate. "You know right away I'd be able to tell who you're soulmate is. It's just hard to locate them for some reason. I was able to locate everyone else's soulmate in the past, I think maybe it's me. I'm the problem, maybe I'm getting dull at love work." Cupid explained.

"What are you talking about? I summoned you here for a reason. Don't tell me, you seriously can't help me!" Rose said in annoyance. "Well don't panic. I will help you. I'm just trying to figure out the problem first." Cupid told rose.

"Or maybe the problem is me. No one is interested in me. You know maybe I don't have a soulmate. I mean you can't even locate them, but for others you could. I don't think it has anything to do with you, maybe there's just something wrong with me." Rose said to Cupid.

"You have to stop doubting yourself this way. This affects you're chance at finding love. Did you know, not having enough self love for yourself risks your chances of finding a soulmate, because you're suppose to love yourself first, maybe that's why I'm not locating them. This is you're first step to fix." Cupid told you.

"So we're gonna work on you. Let's do the things you love."

"Okay well I love art!" Rose told Cupid.

Since the talk with cupid, you and cupid had been spending a lot of time together doing everything you loved, it was fun and you finally felt the freedom of being okay with yourself, and loving yourself more.

"See this feels good doesn't it?" Cupid asks.

"Yeah for some reason it does, I'm really happy Cupid. I just love spending time with you."

"What?" Cupid said staring at Rose.

" why do you look so surprised?" Rose asked laughing.

" Because with all the humans I've helped none of them had really focused on the time they spent with me just about finding the love of their life but I guess I've always known that you were kind of different when I met you." Cupid said hugging you.

Rose felt happy. It was the first time she felt she could be herself and not really try to find her soulmate. It wasn't the thing her mind was most set on when she was with cupid. "Maybe a friend is what I needed more than a lover." Rose told cupid.

"Maybe—but you know I'm only here for some time."

"Yeah I know, but these moments spent with you are so fun, I'm afraid I might feel lonely once you go back to you're world, wherever that is."

"Would you want me to stay?"

"It would be selfish if I said yes."

"What if I wanted you to be selfish?" Cupid asked staring at you.
