CHAPTER SEVEN.

"Am I allowed to be selfish?" Rose asked staring at Cupid. "I don't know, but if I wanted to stay I could. I just wouldn't have the job as Cupid anymore, and I'd be a normal human being again, just like I once were, but all things come with a price. If I return to human then I wouldn't have the memories I did when I was Cupid. So I wouldn't remember you or the memories we spent together." Cupid explained to Rose.

"There's something I have to admit then.." you told Cupid. She already knew what it was though. "I'm afraid I already know. I think I also might know who you're soulmate is." Cupid said staring at Rose. There were only itches in between them, before Cupid leaned in for a kiss.

Rose smiled at Cupid and kissed her back deeply.

"I guess now I know who it is..but..if you don't remember me or our memories, would you still come back to me?" Rose asked Cupid.

"If we're really soulmates, then yes, I wouldn't have a job anymore though.." Cupid said feeling lost.

"Hey I've got you." Rose said holding Cupid. "If you became a human, you'd probably just have a regular job like all humans, who knows, maybe you can find another passion here that you love, and it can be you're job. That's what humans do." Rose said smiling.

"I want to be with you. That's all I really know. As long as I can be with you, I can give up my status, and everything I have in my other world to stay here with you, even if it must come with a price, I'm sure I'll always love you, since we're soulmates after all." Cupid said reassuring Rose.

"I want to be with you too. I just want to make sure that you're choosing the right choice.." Rose said sighing.

"Trust me when I say this, you are my right choice. There is no other choice for me and no turning back because I know what I really want, and nothing is gonna stop me from truly getting what I want. You know before you, I never even thought of myself, or what I really want, but now I know, and it's you." Cupid said hugging rose tightly. "I don't want to let go of you. If I choose to go back and continue my job as Cupid I'll never see you again..and I don't think I can live like that." Cupid said sighing.

"Then it doesn't have to be that way, because I choose you too." Rose said holding Cupid's hands.
