During Victoria weekend, I had the hardest time sleeping. It was just warm enough that I wanted my windows open during the night, but the fireworks were just loud enough that I couldn't sleep. At about eleven at night, I got tired of trying to sleep (pun not intended) so I went down stairs. My mom and my brother joined me outside on the swing, and we watched the fireworks. They were in the backyards of our neighbours, so they were super close, super loud. The fireworks were fun, but the conversation was much more than that. Let's just say it was funny. Totally worth staying up really late.
