Alex said, freen and I are fixing our "crime board" in the attic
"This is so boring.. how many days have we been working on this? Weeks? And we got nothing.. this is bullshit" Eloise said as she laid down in the bean bag
"Your sister is right, we should take a break and you ma'am need to stop being obsessed with this case. We don't know the whole story here"
"I mean.. y'all are free to go. Im not stopping you. Im stuck in Thailand for 6 months so.." I said and went back to working on our crime wall
"C'mon Alex, let's get out of here" el said and left
"Why do you want to solve this crime so bad?"
"Because they're my parents."
"Or is it because you feel the need too?"
I chuckled "what do you mean by that?"
"You were a kid when they were murdered.. you feel like you didn't do anything t—"
"Wrong"
"You keep resisting... I even thought we were atleast friends but you can't even open up"
"I mean what's there to open up?"
"Like why you don't like it when you touch people or being touched"
"Oh gosh, is this about because I won't let you touch me while we're having sex?"
"It's not always about sex"
I laughed sarcastically "then what?"
"Hey" Freen said as she was going down the stairs.. it's already 1 am
"Sup" I said while still busy in my laptop. They went out earlier with their friends and ofcourse my sister and her cousin are drunk
"Thanks for taking care of El"
"Not a big deal, you want warm milk with Oreo?"
"No thanks"
After 10 minutes she sat next to me
"You don't get tired of watching that clip huh" she said and put an Oreo that's dipped in milk near my mouth
"I said I'm good"
"Hmp.. you're mean"
"And you're drunk"
"Im not"
"Well you smell like alcohol"
"Come sit with me by the pool" I looked at her to see if she's serious and she is serious
I decided to go with her since I've been sitting infront of my laptop for almost 6 hours now
"You know, I like talking to you even if you're mean" she said out of nowhere "you're straightforward"
"Are you trying to flatter me"
"Why? Are you flattered?" She said and even moved her face closer to my face.. so I moved closer to her and whispered in her ear
