Why did I even let myself be vulnerable to freen..

I asked Alex for her office address because I got a response from the old lady at the abandoned house..I was going to ask her to go with me but instead, I saw her with Riley.

"Sister.."

"Yes Eloise"

"Alex have a murder case..."

I turned my swivel chair

"Okay, all ears... what happened?"

"Well, the teacher raped the student and the mom killed the teacher and now she's being charged of murder"

"Uhhh.... Wow. I mean..when did she killed him? Like before it was reported to the police or??"

"After the trial. In the court room"

"Trial?"

"So apparently the case was dismissed because of lack of evidence.."

"And then?"

"After the judge announces that the case were dismissed, she pulled out the gun and shot him multiple times"

"Oooff... mother pulled out the gun and pressed the slay button" I said jokingly

"You really had to make jokes like that?"

"My bad, I mean.. she got the justice that the system will never give. What she did is what any mother would do but the law will see it as a crime."
