I opened my eyes when i felt someone shaking me
"Are you sure you dont want to see a therapist? You've been having nightmares" El said.. its been a week since i got discharged from the hospital and since then I've been sleeping with El.
"Its not a nightmare.."
"What is it then?"
I havent told el that i saw mom but then im not really sure if it was even her
"Have you thought about...what if they're alive? Or atleast one of them is alive"
"Huh?"
"Mom and dad"
"What made you think that? We literally saw their body, remember?"
"But then you just told me that, i havent remembered everything that happened but im slowly remembering things"
"What happened when you were gone? You said someone saved you. Who saved you?"
"I...i dont really remember."
I said and went back to sleep. It's probably best if she doesnt know about what i saw. Besides, im not even sure of what i saw.
......
I went to the attic and tried looking at my mom's stuff..there's gotta be something here that can help answer my question.
"Knock knock"
I looked back when i heard freen's voice
"I got sushi!" She said while showing the bag.. i got up and walked towards her
"I miss you" i said and gave her a peck on her lips.
"I heard you're remembering things" she said while preparing the food on the table
"Uh-huh"
"What did you remember?"
"Things..."
"Uh yea? Specific please" she said and rolled her eyes. I cant help but to laugh..
I sat down next to her in the couch
"Just childhood memories with my parents...and apparently you were the first person that rejected me"
She started laughing "dont be dramatic, i never rejected you. I just didnt think it was right to be with the same gender, you know..."
