Agnes' hair blew through the air as she stood alone, the bright sunset warming her tear stained cheeks. Lance had just... Left her. She was confused, scared, worried, and even a bit mad.

Agnes wiped her tears off with the sleeve of her gray cardigan. She dazed off for a moment until she heard footsteps behind her. She turned to see that Megan and Lucy were running up to her.

"What happened?? One minute you were walking over to Lance, the next you two dart out of the guild!" Megan said as she put her hands on her hips and glared at Agnes. Lucy looked more confused than mad.
"Everything's fine.." Agnes spoke quietly and turned her head back to where Lance had ran.
Megan got on her tippy toes, put her hand above her eyes as a visor, and scanned the area, "Where's Lance?"
"I'm not sure.. He just ran off." Agnes' voice was shaky. Lucy put her hand on Agnes' shoulder, "Agnes.. What happened..?" Her voice sounded sweet and soothing, but urgent at the same time.

"-And then he ran off..." Agnes took a long sip of her tea as she finished up her story.
"Sounds pretty suspicious to me.." Megan said as she set down her chocolate milkshake, she'd been sipping violently through the straw throughout the entire story.
Agnes nodded.
"Are you worried about him..?" Lucy spoke up, Agnes nodded again.
Megan abruptly stood up, nearly flipping the table, "Then why didn't you follow him?!"
"F-Follow him?" Agnes stuttered.
"Yeah! It's obvious you love him!-"
"I wouldn't say that-"
"So you need to go after him! It shouldn't be that hard to find him!" Megan yanked Agnes by her red scarf and dragged her out of the guild.
"Gyah!! M-Megan!? Lucy help!!" Agnes yelled as she was dragged away. Lucy giggled, "Good luck, you two!"

~~~((<TIME SKIP>))~~~
Megan and Agnes walked through the streets until they arrived at Agnes' apartment. "Why are we here?!" Megan yelled.
"Well if I'm going on an.. adventure, then I'll need some clothes." Agnes said while walking up the steps.
Megan nearly yanked out her hair, "Ugh!! Fine!! Just be quick!"
Agnes nodded and ran inside the building and up to her apartment.
Agnes packed up her satchel and ran down the stairs, nearly bumping into Megan as she flew through the front doors. "Finally! Let's go!" Megan grabbed Agnes' arm and started darting through the streets until they arrived at the train station.
Megan's eyes darted around the area looking for any sign of Lance, "There!!" She yanked Agnes near a ticket stand and waited. "You found him-?"
"SSSSSSSHHHHH!" Megan cut off Agnes and dragged her behind a pillar.
They both peaked their heads out to see Lance was waiting in line to buy a ticket. He looked very stern and concerned while he stood there, he held his jacket over his shoulder.
Megan pulled Agnes back behind the pillar, "Alright, this is as far as I take you."
"What?!" Agnes jumped back a bit.
"This is your biz! I'm not getting tangled up in this! ..." It was silent for a moment.
Agnes frowned, "Well..", she turned around, "Thank yo-."
Megan wrapped her arms around Agnes from behind and squeezed her tight, "Good luck..." Megan let go and smiled.
Agnes smiled and without looking back, she walked over to the ticket booth.
~~~((<TIME SKIP>))~~~

Agnes waited in line, she kept trying to peak over people's shoulders to get a look at Lance. He was second in line now, Agnes was only one person away from him. '...I probably should've let more people in front of me.. If Lance turns around and I'm not fast enough to hide-...' Agnes' train of thought was interrupted as someone bumped into her from behind.

"OOF!" Agnes stumbled forward a bit, bumping the person infront of her slightly. The man didn't turn around, but she could hear him angrily mumbling incoherently under his breath. Agnes turned around to see who had bumped into her, it was a man who looked about 19. He looked as if he was 7'0 in height as he towered over Agnes. The man was wearing a white coat, underneath that was a white shirt with a pastel yellow vest and black tie. His hair was white and went two to three inches below his shoulders. He had yellow eyes that seemed to light up the area. Overall he was pretty good looking.

He smiled with a bit of a worried look as if to apologize. Agnes blushed and turned around to face away from him, she could hear his breath as he panted. 'He must've been running for a while... I wonder why... Well it's none of my buissness...' Though she was sure it was nothing, she couldn't shake off an uneasy feeling. Agnes felt as if.. She and this man had met before.

~~~((<TIME SKIP>))~~~
It wasn't long until Agnes was at the front of the line, she peaked around the booth to keep an eye on Lance, as she purchased the ticket, 'Mente City?.. Never heard of it.. But then again I don't get around much.' Agnes walked out of the line, she peered back to look at the man who had bumped into her.
A few minutes later the train arrived and Agnes watched as Lance hopped on, she followed after him.
Agnes sat in the booth behind Lance and shut the sliding door, 'Hmm.. When should I talk to him? Or should I just follow him the whole time? Or-?'
"Excuse me?" A deep, yet suave, voice cut off Agnes' thoughts. She looked up to see the door was open, the man from earlier had opened it and stepped inside.
He gestured to the bench in front of Agnes, "Pardon me, but is this seat taken?" He smiled.
Agnes wanted to say yes, she hated the feeling of this guy, even if he was a total hottie. But Agnes was a bit of a push over and wasn't that smart (sigh, oh Agnes, you dumby). She shook her head and held out a hand gesturing to the seat.
The man smiled and sat down in front of her, he crossed his legs and put his arms on the back of the bench, looking out the window. Agnes could already feel the uneasiness in the air again, she shut her eyes and fidgeted. The train started moving and all Agnes could think was,
'This is going to be a long train ride...'
Have a great day!
(Btw the character design I used is NOT mine. He is a character in 'Psycho Gun'. I have never seen the anime so I had no idea this was so, and since I really like him for this character I'm not changing it. I know, I know..
I suck :3 )
