Breaking the Fourth Wall

Agnes awoke to the sound of birds chirping, she sighed and snuggled up on her pillow. Just as she got comfy, her eyes opened abruptly and she sat straight up, "Wait.. The birds don't usually sing until-!" She yanked open her curtains and sat there in disbelief. Agnes' eyes darted to her alarm clock. 11:38 a.m. "No way! I'm late for wor-!" She stopped climbing out of bed as she noticed a small scrap of paper sitting on top of her alarm clock. Agnes picked up the small slip of paper and read,

'Morning Cutie!

So I snuck in last night and turned off your alarm clock! I also went up to your boss and told her you're going to die soon so you can't work anymore! Now get out there and practice your magic, go on a quest! Do something! but if you go back to that stupid department store, I'll get you. Have a great day!

Agnes stared at the slip of paper, still processing what she just read. "Damnit Lance!" She said as she crumpled the slip.

After sitting in her bed for a few minutes of contemplating what to do, she got up and decided it'd be best to start off with some tea. Agnes got up and out if her bed, put on her gray cardigan over her black bra, and headed towards her kitchen.

After making some ginger tea she sat down and opened up the newest issue of 'Sorcerer Weekly'. She chuckled as she read about all of FairyTail's latest shenanigans, and sighed as she opened up to the swimsuit section. "Why can't I be as pretty as them?" She thought, looking down at her b-cup chest and groaning.

After a few minutes of reading and gocking, she heard yelling coming from outside. Agnes groaned and trudged over to her window. Just when she was about to close her window, she saw her neighbor talking to a blue cat. Agnes stood there for a moment looking at her suspiciously and thought, "C'mon.. Turn around.. Turn aroun-!"

The blonde turned her head to the side and started walking away from the building. Agnes gasped, "No way?! Lucy Heartfilia?!"

She sprinted over to her drawers, pulled out a skirt and tugged it on. She nearly tripped while trying to put on her knee high socks and slip on shoes. Agnes yanked her scarf off the coat rack, which fell to the ground in the process, she slammed open her door and ran down the stairs.

She grabbed the handle of the apartment entrance door and yanked it open. Agnes' eyes darted around looking for the girl she believed to be one of her idols.
No one. No one was in sight. The girl Agnes had seen must've walked away.

Agnes let out a heavy sigh and sat down in the apartment steps. "Was it really her?" She sighed again and opened up her magazine. Agnes heard the sound if high heals walking towards her, but didn't think much of it.

"Um excuse me?" A high pitched voice asked Agnes.
Agnes looked up from her magazine, her jaw dropping, "Lucy.. Heartfilia.." Agnes thought.
"Uuhh, you're kinda in my way.." Lucy spoke out again.
Agnes looked around and hopped up with a nervous laugh.
"Oh uh eheh, sorry!" Agnes stepped to the side.

Lucy smiled awkwardly and walked up the steps. Agnes cringed at the awkward encounter and waited for Lucy to come back.

Lucy hopped down the steps and started walking over to the cat, which Agnes now realized was The Salamander's trusted side kick, Happy.

Agnes grabbed Lucy's arm as the blonde walked past, her head lowered. Lucy turned with a look of confusion. "U-Um.. Sorry but are you.. Lucy Heartfilia?" Agnes said, her head still lowered.

Lucy smiled softly, "In fact I am. Are you a fan?" She lowered her head to meet Agnes' eyes. Agnes blushed and brought her head back up, "I-I am actually. I'm uh-..."
Lucy smiled, "You're what?"
Agnes held her breath for a moment before letting loose, "I'M A HUGE FAN OF YOU AND EVERYONE IN FAIRYTAIL! YOU'RE ALL SO TALENTED AND GOOD LOOKING A-AND I-..." Agnes cut herself short and covered her mouth, blushing madly.

Lucy looked a bit shocked, but it quickly faded into a smile and almost hysterical laugh. Agnes lowered her head again.

Lucy's laugh faded and she smiled, grabbing Agnes' hands. Agnes flinched and looked at her.

"We were actually headed over to the guild right now.. Care to join us?" Lucy said with a wink.
Agnes gasped, "More than anything!" She said with a huge smile. Happy tackled Agnes' head and laughed, "You'll love everyone! It's nice to meet you-.. uuuhh... What's you're name again?"

Agnes face palmed, "Eheh, sorry. My name is Agnes Elle Valencia, but my friends call me Agnes. It's an honor to meet you both!" Agnes grinned. "Let's go!" Agnes giggled and they all started walking. But Agnes stopped with a halt as something grabbed the collar of her cardigan.

"Maybe you should put a shirt on first..." A voice said as it tugged on her bra strap with one finger.

Agnes turned around to see Lance, floating upside down behind her. Agnes blushed furiously and slapped him. "GRRRRAAAAH!!!!"

Lucy and Happy giggled as Agnes yelled at Lance, covering her chest in the process, and as Lance repeatedly apologized and laughed.

DONE! BAM! Haha I really liked making this chapter! If you didn't get why the chapter is called 'Breaking the Fourth Wall' it's because Lucy is from a magazine and stories Agnes reads.
