Ps: it's my birthdaaay today
and this is my gift to you! 🎁Eda's POV
It took me an extra second to realize my phone was ringing.
I was still immersed in the moments that Serkan and I had lived.
And in our words.
I felt every syllable vibrating directly in the middle of my thighs, I felt his lips touching mine and his breath touching my skin.
"Eda... the phone."
Serkan murmured, in a single breath.
I shook my head to try to get back to the reality that surrounded me and grabbed that damn phone on the desk that wouldn't stop ringing with my brother's name on the screen.
I mentally noted that I had to mute my phone's ringtone every time Efe tried to call me.
"Dada, how long did it take you to answer me! Where were you?"
In the arms of your hot best friend.
"Ef... Efe, I was just in the bathroom. I'm still in the office but I'm about to go back to the hotel!"
"Iyi tamam. I wanted to warn you that already tonight our apartments are settled and we could go there, our things have already been transferred from our hotel. Tomorrow I will have to leave to visit a site on the coast. I will be away for three days: do you think you can manage to settle all by yourself?"
Serkan's ear was stuck to my phone, listening to every word my brother said.
My brother and I had decided to buy two separate apartments.
It was the first time I went to live alone and it was a big step for me, so I understood my brother's apprehension.
Mostly, knowing my past.
"Don't worry Efe, I can look after myself. I'm not a little girl anymore!"
I mocked, gaining a laugh from everyone, including Serkan who looked at me, admiring me with a look I couldn't understand.
"I know, but you're still my little sister! Especially after that night you almost..."
"Efe."
I cut off the rest of my brother's thoughts that inevitably flew over my past, a past that I kept locking in a chamber of my memory hoping I could finally get rid of the key.
Serkan looked back at me, questioning.
"I have to leave you now, see you in three days! Be good and don't fight too much with Serkan!"
Serkan chuckled while I moved slightly away from him, always remaining in his arms that held my hips.
"I can't promise you that, Efe! That man really knows how to hit my nerves..."
I looked at Serkan in challenging tones, biting my lower lip.
Serkan smirked and sank his head in my neck, starting to suck my skin, landing under my ear and discovering what was my weak point.
"Serkan!"
I whisper-yelled to him, making his smug face wider."Serkan is a good person, Eda. You just have to get to know him and he will open his heart to a soul as good as yours. I have to go, Selin is finally here."
Efe continued, luckily not hearing me.
Serkan lifted his head, looking everywhere but me after what my brother had said about him.Would he ever open his heart to me?
