chishiya could tell you were an impatient person. he noticed how your leg bounced while listening to hatter rant about the beach.

he took note of the way you bite your nails at registration and the glare on your face every time you checked the phone for any sign of the game starting.

and he knew with a little bit of a push, he'd see the beast he saw when you were bounded down to that chair at the beach.

and he was correct.

you either wanted to end the game quickly, or escalate the rush you felt in the games, chishiya doubted it was to end the game quickly despite knowing you only within the little interactions.

with the way you acted in the game, he concluded your speciality must be hearts, and it was clear you'd played a lot of them.

let's see what else chishiya is right about.

it was the third round, and there were only six people left. the round will be over depending on how quickly people will interfere or answer.

the second round was interesting, people were slapped by the fact that they would die if they didn't pull out an answer quickly, though not a lot of people interfered, only your pair and this other pair seated to your right, whom you started to get annoyed at.

helpers were distressed, and if their leader had died in one of the rounds due to the others interfering, they were deemed useless, considering they weren't able to save the leaders from dying.

many of the helpers were compelled to become leaders because the person they paired up with would think they would be of no use.

so they would just become a mere decoy for the other to survive and be in the next round.

people were starting to worry, especially having to keep tracks of all the new rules whenever a pair (or leader) got eliminated.

a light shone on a pair with a woman as a leader and the man as the helper, 'they've been on edge, but luck has been on their side considering they haven't been picked, besides now of course.' you thought.

"There's a one-story house where everything is blue. the walls are blue, the doors are blue, and all of the furniture is blue. what color are the stairs?"

chishiya snorted at the question, he was sure now that there was a pattern between the riddles after all.

the first riddle of each round was always ridiculously easy, then it would become hard, or a riddle even a child would know, but this riddle has got to be the easiest one yet.

"it - it's blue right? i mean... it says everything in the house is blue..." the man mumbled to the woman after he repeated the riddle to her.

you raised a brow at his words, almost stunned at what he said, "is he joking?" you mumbled to yourself.

"i don't think he is." chishiya whispered, "the gears in his brain aren't turning fast enough since they've only been eating up answers from the others."
