things on the beach had become tedious to chishiya, and the only two things that interested him were how delicate the law and order at the beach is, between hatter and the militant corps.

the second thing is the games keeping him on his toes, having him on guard at all times, especially with things such as visas that you have to maintain.

but a third interest came, and the third interest is you. considering that chishiya were to test you, he already knew you'd be put into his group.

the only other thing he had to wonder about is what kind of game, the suit of the card, and how you would react to it would be.

he felt too giddy he couldn't wait, how incredibly unlike him.

the phone you grabbed earlier chimed loudly, "game entry is now closed." the automated voice declared, causing you to snap out of your trance and focus on the instructions.

"there are twenty participants." you crossed your arms in front of your chest, your eyes glancing around the room and observing the other participants.

the room was painted white, it was spacious and echoed with almost even the slightest movement, and right in front of you and chishiya was a black door. behind you both is an elevator.

"the game is about to commence." the phone rang once again. you pulled out the phone from your pocket and looked at the suit of cards on the screen.

"difficulty, four of hearts." once the difficulty of the game was announced, people began to mumble, they were either confused or panicked.

"we need this card." chishiya whispered in your ear before he leaned back onto the wall, hands still in his pockets.

"game, 'riddled trust'," you recited the name of the game in your head, placing a hand on your hip as you waited for the next instructions.

"players must find one partner to pair up with, a question will be asked each round and is directed to one of the pair, if they are unable to answer, another pair can answer and earn 'pass' points by shooting the leader of the first pair."

'that'll narrow it down, huh?' you thought to yourself, glancing at chishiya and then at the other players who held panicked looks.

"if they are unable to answer, someone can answer for them, but they'll get shot in return." chishiya whispered.

"if the pair is unable to answer within the time limit, they will be eliminated."

"that must be the riddle part," you whispered back, continuing your conversation. you began biting on your nails and your brows furrowed as you kept thinking.

"after two pairs are eliminated or leaders are shot, players can choose a new partner before the start of the next round." the explanation continued.
