Kaeya gets off the bed, going back to his seat as he frustratedly wipe his face with his hands.
Why don't you just let me die?

This is what it's actually is for her:
It could be that her heart— it's freezing.
Ice cold.
This is not final yet, and she still could be wrong. But if she bases on her years of studying herself and everyone, that's the closest reason possible. There are many possibilities, actually. But most of it is heart related; other heart disease that could exist;
Hanahaki is not possible. She is not coughing out petals, nor feel it growing inside her. She read about it, but basing on the books: unrequited love is what it grows from.
It wasn't that. That is not her situation. Only some sort of, but not totally. She thinks.
Every time her chest aches, other than pain, there is also one thing she feels but chose to ignore:
Coldness. It is odd. It sounds unconvincing, but, that's what she feels.
Everyone is not genuine is what she used to think. After being thrown into a side where the good is barely reciprocated, it altered her thoughts eventually.
She is not living her life. She is trying to survive—barely surviving, at that.
...
Now, she is in a room, sitting still in silence at the edge of an bed she was led to. Her eyes bats at every corner of the room, outside the open door, and at every window and hole she can see in case of less favorable outcomes of any situation.
The red haired adult stares at her, arms crossed as he's accompanied by a woman beside him—dressed like some sort of a maid.
It was after that storm. The weather and her life.
"Where did you come from, child?"

Y/n is now asleep after Diluc and Jean brought Barbara just in time that she woke up, yet for Kaeya, those things she said, he couldn't get it out of his mind.
Luckily for them, Barbara somehow lessened the pain of Y/n, which is why now she's laying down quietly.
For the first time in a while, she looked quiet and peaceful. She's laying down with her arms on her side, looking as pale as paper.
The very moment her eyes shot open, she regretted waking up almost immediately because of her vision spinning, her head started aching.
The bright light somehow dimmed, a voice to her side softly says,
"You're awake. Do you know where you are?"
Diluc..?
Where am I? The tavern?
No,
This is the winery?
What happened is...
She closes her eyes. Her attempt to recall everything is a struggle, she only caught glimpses of the events.
I passed out?
"I'm sorry." Y/n muttered once she was fully aware, tries to sit up from her laying position, only for Jean to lay her back down. She huffs in frustration, and couldn't look at anyone in the eyes knowing what had happened.
"When was the last time that you ate?" Diluc asks, and she could only purse her lips in silence as a reply.
She remembers Kaeya inviting her to eat lunch, but she refused for she said she already had eaten. It was the other day, but she is not even so sure; that was the last time she was reminded of food. It was not clear if she just tends to forget herself because of her overworking demeanor: includes of her hours of study of trying to point a finger of what her sickness is, or she just straight up doesn't want to.
