Chapter Three

They both had just arrived in Felix's room and they were sitting on the bed talking about random subjects when the topic of relationships came up.

"So, have you ever dated someone?" Hyunjin asked Felix.

"Yeah, I have, they were not good for my mental health, I'll tell you that," Felix said with a slight giggle at the end.

"You?" He asked in return.

"Never," Hyunjin said.

"Really? Never?" Felix said flabbergasted.

"But you're so pretty! How could you have never dated anyone?" Felix mumbled loudly, and Hyunjin heard him.

"You think I'm pretty?" He asked Felix smirking slightly.

"Well, I mean, yeah! Who wouldn't?" Felix said confused, "You're tall, handsome, hella hot, and you even have a good job, who wouldn't wanna date you?" Felix said blushing slightly.

Hyunjin found the explanation and facial expressions cute, I mean when he was confused his face scrunched up ever so slightly and when Felix blushed he would look away and close his eyes tight.

He was just cute overall, Hyunjin thought he could now die happy after having seen these reactions out of Felix.

"Well so many people have asked me out but I've turned them down. I needed time for work then" Hyunjin told Felix.

"Oh..." Felix replied a bit sadly.

Felix was a little sad, at least he still had a chance when he thought Hyunjin just hadn't had anyone ask him out but knowing he just turned them down?

He was heartbroken.

Hyunjin had no idea why he was suddenly so sad but he didn't question it.

"Although now I do have time for dating so I may end up dating someone," Hyunjin added nonchalantly.

Felix was no longer saddened by his previous thoughts, and now he was happy.

"Hey Um, Hyunjin Hyung?" He asked.

Hyunjin hummed to show he was listening.

"Could we be friends?" Felix asked.

Hyunjin was hurt by the friends' words but it's better than nothing, isn't it?

"Sure," he said, but to Felix his tone didn't sound so sure, although he didn't question it.

"Then... could I, maybe... have your number?" Felix said shyly, hesitating every once in a while.

Hyunjin was beyond happy at this.

He sat up from his former position and pulled out his phone (he was lying down).

"Sure," he said, a little too excited, but Felix didn't notice, if he did he didn't say anything about it.

"Yay!" Felix said in a higher pitch than he usually was, which surprised them both.

"What was that?" Hyunjin said laughing.

"I dunno!" Felix said, still shocked.

Did that noise just come out of me!?

Felix thought.

They exchanged numbers and they just sat with each other and talked for a while.

Soon, around 10 pm, Hyunjin had to leave.

"Whyyyyyy!!" Felix whined, his parents called them both down so Hyunjin could leave.

The Lees were confused because they had never seen their son act like this before.
