Chapter Thirty - Eight

A / N : I'm gonna try something new and do Felix's POV, if I like it then the next few chapters will be in a characters POV

Felix's POV :

Me, my mom, and Gajja were all in the kitchen doing something different.

I was cutting up some vegetables to add to my moms stew, Gajja was getting some type of cake mix ready for dessert, and my mom was keeping an eye on the stew, stirring it every once in a while.

We were perfectly fine with the current set up, the only noises that you could hear was the soft sound of the TV from the movie my dad was watching, the cutting of vegetables and the sound of water boiling lightly, the occasional sound of Gajja scraping the whisk on the bottom of the bowl.

Soon enough I heard the doorbell ring throughout the house and my mind went immediately to Hyunjin.

I left my place temporarily and washed my hands, "I'll get it!" I said with a small smile as I walked over to the front door.

When I opened it I saw a slightly pouty Hyunjin and his face lighted up when I opened the door.

"Lixie!" He exclaimed as he came closer for a hug.

"Hey Jinnie" I giggled, "Miss me?"

Hyunjin pouted some more and stood up straighter.

"Of course I missed you, I couldn't see you for hours" he pouted.

"You got to see me for three hours today Jinnie" I giggled and we both walked into the house to the kitchen.

"But it wasn't enough..."

"Oh! Hello Hyunjin, dear" My mom greeted and Hyunjin bowed respectfully.

"Hello Mrs. Lee" he greeted in return, "Sorry to intrude" he added when he stood up straight again.

"Oh it's no bother" my mom smiled "Frankly I missed having more people around the house, with Felix gone and his sisters moving back to Australia for school, I don't get to cook for many people" My mom said, she seemed sad for a fraction of a second before she returned to her big smile.

"Well Felix, I can finish the vegetables if you would like, you can go and hang out with Hyunjin if you want" she smiled even brighter.

I nodded,"Okay, thanks mom!" I smiled giving her a hug and kiss on the cheek.

"Oh it's no bother, go have some fun!"

Me and Jinnie went upstairs into my room and sat down.

"Wow! Did they change it into a guest bedroom?" Hyunjin asked when we walked in.

"I guess so, I mean I moved out so why would they keep the room bare?" I tilted my head, a bad habit I can't seem to get rid of no matter how hard I try.

"Seems logical" Hyunjin shrugged and sat beside me on the bed.

"Why weren't you at school when I came to pick you up?" He asked with a pout on his beautifully plump lips.

"I went home early because I didn't feel good" I replied shortly, but apparently that didn't satisfy him.

"But then why didn't you go to our house?"

"My emergency contact was my mom so they called her and we came here because I wanted to visit them"

"Oh" was all he said and he laid down against the headboard of the bed.

"Sorry..." he mumbled.

"Sorry for what?" I asked, tilting my head again.

"I got upset that you came to your parents house for no reason, I shouldn't have done that" he pouted some more.
