Chapter Thirty - Nine

Felix's POV :

The next morning I woke up and the light was shining on my face.

I groaned as I tried sitting up but was blocked by the still deep-asleep Hyunjin.

"Hyunjin Ah~ wake up" I whined in my groggy morning voice.

I'll be honest, sometimes the range of my voice even surprises me.

Hyunjin groaned and turned away from me, giving me a chance to escape the area on the floor we slept and get up to get ready for the day.

Today was Saturday and we didn't have much going on, usually, we would find something to do with friends but Jisung and Minho went on a date today, Chan and Jeongin are doing some stuff at the office and I haven't heard from Seungmin, and Changbin for a while.

I wonder what they're doing?

I made my way over to the bathroom before I realized this wasn't my house anymore and I don't have a toothbrush there.

It kind of made me sad to know that my things aren't here anymore but I knew I could still visit often so that was a big comfort to me right now.

I suppose right now I'm feeling a little homesick.

My mom knocked on the door and I heard her say "Felix? Honey I have a toothbrush for you if you need one" and I could hear the smile in her voice.

It made me happier than I got woke up here today.

I peeked my head out of the bathroom and took the toothbrush, thanking her before I closed the door again.

"I'll be downstairs making breakfast if you need me" I heard her say, her voice retreating downstairs, but I could still hear the smile on her voice and it just warmed my heart even more.

'I had no idea how much I missed this...'

I thought as I continued what I usually do in the mornings before I went back to the room and, once again, forgot I didn't have any clothes.

I walked downstairs and saw my mom making breakfast with my dad sitting at the table.

"Morning!" I said as I sat down.

"Good morning honey," Mom said, coming over and giving me a small kiss on the cheek before she plated the food in front of me and at the other spaces on the table.

"Good morning son, how did you sleep?" My dad asked, taking his eyes away from the newspaper to glance at me.

"I slept fine, although I don't have any clothes to change into..." I looked down at my food and began eating.

"Thank you for the food," I said right before I took the first bite, nearly forgetting to say it.

"Oh, that's no problem! We can just get you some clothes from your house, no biggie" My mom smiled and started to eat her food as well.

"How about this time you guys stay at our house?" I asked, tilting my head again. Seriously this habit is so very annoying sometimes.

"Oh we wouldn't want to be a bother" My mom smiled and laughed a bit.

"Oh it's no bother Mom, I promise! I bet they would love having you both around, and it's a way to repay the favor" I smiled.

"Oh alright, but only if it's okay with the other two!" My mom emphasized, and as if on cue the other two showed up and sat down, both having crazy bed hair I laughed so hard.

"It's fine Mrs. Lee, Mr. Lee" Gajja smiled and said "Thank you for the food" before eating as well.

"Yeah, our place is, by the extent, your place too" Hyunjin smiled before copying Gajja's actions and stuffing his mouth with the yummy strawberry pancakes.
