Scott was right outside, trying to eavesdrop.

He could hear his mother stating how her heartbeat had changed it's rhythm.

What had happened to her?

The twins weren't planning on leaving either, Ethan staying for Danny, and Aiden staying for Chloe.

Before Aiden had come to the hospital with Chloe, Ethan and Scott witnessed a car accident, but there was no driver in the car.

A Healer was taken.

Melissa came out, it took her all she had to keep it together, "she was poisoned."

Scott looked confused, it wasn't anything sacrifice like, it wasn't adding up.

"What can we do?" Aiden asked which cut off Scott from thinking.

Melissa sighed, "nothing. They sent me out... they can't have me treating my daughter in there." Melissa sat next to Scott and buried her face on her hands.

Before anyone could question anything else, Stiles came in running, followed by Derek on his heels, "I'm here! I'm here! What the heck happened?" Stiles huffed due to lack of oxygen.

"Someone poisoned her." Scott said, and before Stiles or Derek could say the twins did it, "I don't think they did it."

"Why would someone poison her? what poison even is that?" Derek asked as he looked at Melissa for answers.

"As far as I know it was, botulinum toxin, she was barely breathing when she was brought here." she told them.

It took about thirty minutes for the doctors to come out and let them know that Chloe was indeed safe, all she needed was to sleep it off.

Derek and Scott stopped pacing, the twins left... well Ethan made Aiden leave, as the visiting hours had gotten over.

Stiles sighed in relief.

Melissa was the first one to run inside the room to check on her daughter.

Chloe only woke up in the morning, Scott and Isaac had fallen asleep on the couch.

She was hooked to one of the ventilators, she was genuinely confused if she would take it out.

She would ask someone, but she was probably the smartest person in the room.

How did she even end up in this situation?

"Scott? Isaac?" she called, and quickly cleared her throat due to her voice being raspy.

Their werewolf senses definitely worked, as they jerked awake, "hey!" Scott smiled at his sister, "how are you feeling?"

"What even happened to me?" she asked, "don't tell me they were taking another virgin!"

Isaac chuckled, "no. But what a way to let the whole hospital know about your sexual experiences." he nodded.

"Well the lack of it." Chloe corrected earning a laugh from the boys.

"Well, someone poisoned you." Scott added.

Chloe almost chuckled in surprise, "why? I mean, I don't think I'm that important to be poisoned, but right. Who did it?" she asked.

"We thought you'd know." Isaac shrugged.

Chloe took the oxygen wires out of her so she could talk properly, she figured if something did happen Scott and Isaac would call someone, "How would I know?"
