Back to school,
Math was just over and the friends walked into the lounge together.
There they met Archie and jughead.

"Babyyy." Veronica mumbled to herself and sat on her boyfriends lap, hugging the redhead tightly.

„Hey princess." he kissed her cheek and grabbed her waist, „how was math?"

„Hm, good I guess. I don't understand one formal though."

„Oh, I can explain it to you later." he smiled.

„Thank you." she smiled back.

„Since when are they loving each other so deep?" Betty asked her boyfriend curiously while his arm laid around her neck.

He chuckled before saying, „since forever."

„I never noticed.." she thinned her lips, „where are Cheryl and Toni?"

„Here." Toni came inside, with Cheryl behind her.

The redheads face already told them all how pissed she was. In addition, she stood there arms crossed and chewing on a gum.

„Shit, why's Cheryl so mad!" Archie laughed.

„She found out that I had soccer practice with another girl, instead of choosing sweet pea."

„Why would you choose her though?" Cheryl furrowed her face, „sweet pea literally asked you to team."

„Because sweet pea can play just like I can." Toni exhaled tiredly, „Jeanette needs someone to show her how to do some scores or whatever."

„What an excuse." Cheryl cringed, "because there's obviously no trainer in your team."

"Cheryl, please." Toni groaned and sat next to Betty, while her girlfriend sat down next to the raven haired.

"I get that you need to train with your teammates."

"Thank you!"

"But,"

Toni groaned frustrated, "no buts, baby."

"Why on purpose?"

"Why are you so jealous?" Betty asked, not in a mean way, "she's your girlfriend."

"Thanks Betty." Toni upside down smiled, "but yes. You are.. my.. girlfriend." She pauses between some words, "why would I want someone else if i got you?"

"Because why wouldn't you cheat?" Cheryl shouted calmly, clearly regretting what she's said, "I didn't mean it that way." She looked down and played with her rings.

"So that's the reason you're mad? Because I'd cheat?" Toni scoffed, "okay." She stood up and left the lounge.

"You need to fix something, baby." Veronica whispered to her best friend.

"No shit."

"We have cheerleader practice now.. you can free your thoughts."

"I'm fine." Cheryl left also, holding her tears.
What if she screwed it all up?

After cheer practice, Cheryl was walking home at around 4pm.
It was November, so it was already turning dark a bit. Like a Twilight.

She hold on her backpack and listened to her playlist. She was listening boyfriend, from Dove Cameron.

When she reached her house she took a nap on her couch. Her mother was away.

Afterwards, she chose to take a walk to her favourite place. It was raining heavily.
She looked at her phone, and saw no messages or calls from Toni. So with an deep hurt inhale, she left the house at around 9 o'clock.

She walked through a near lane and climbed over a fence to reach a bench with a perfect look at the river.

But when she saw the shadow of someone, already being there, she stepped backwards as quiet as possible.
The rain covering her steps.

Accidentally, she stepped on a stick, which then broke apart.

Turned around, the person looked at her.

„Cheryl?" Toni asked, „what are you doing here?"

„Toni?" she exhaled a releasing breath and went up to the bench she was sitting on, „can we talk?"

Toni chuckled while closing her eyes, „go on." she said, clearly not in the mood.

„Uhm.." Cheryl sat down beside her, leaving some space, „I didn't mean it like I said it."

„Sure." she shook her head.

„Toni.."

„Cheryl." she turned her head into her direction, „I didn't pick you to be my girlfriend, to cheat on you! God, what makes you believe I would do that?" her voice started to break.

„It's me." she whispered, „I don't know why you'd pick me."

„Because I love you." Toni laughed sadly, „I don't think I've ever loved someone. So I can't be mad at you. I just cant."

Cheryl stopped breathing for a second or so, „you love me?"

„I love you so much." the brunette threw some stones into the river, „it's unbelievable."

Cheryl sniffed, „I'm sorry Toni. I'm sorry I screwed us up."

Toni pulled Cheryl near, „you didn't screw us up, Cheryl. You just said something that really hurt me. Of course there's a discussion." Toni whispered, „but that doesn't mean we're breaking apart."

„Promise me, you won't give us up."

„I gave you my heart, Cheryl. You opened and healed it." she wrapped her arm around cheryl,"I won't give you up so easily."

„I wanna fix this."

„You did." Toni whispered softly, „no need to push it."

„Hm." cheryl hummed as Toni stood up, „wanna dance in the rain?" she hold out her hand, „I never did that, but I think it's pretty romantic."

The readheads face expression changed, „fuck yes!" she stood up and Toni hold on her tightly, before they started to slowly dance around the area.

Toni laughed, while giving cheryl a deep kiss, „you're cold."

„I'm freezing." she whispered when the continued their moment.

„I love you, Toni."
