Its Thursday, 10:20 AM. The bell rings and Mark goes to lunch after his second period. He goes to the lunch line which wasn't that long since it was still early in the period. The lunch lady's served cheese nachos with beans on the side. Mark gets his food and walks towards a table to sit alone, since Ethan wasn't at lunch at the time. On his way to sit down at a table, Vanessa walks up to him.
"Hey." Vanessa said to Mark.
Mark is in shock, he didn't expect this to happen.
"Hey." Mark said nervously.
"Do you know how to do Mr. Gray's homework?" Vanessa asked.
"Well, I haven't even looked at it. But I could try to help you." Mark said.
Mark and Vanessa sits at a table together next to each other. Vanessa takes off her bag and takes out her science homework.
"So can you help me?" Vanessa asked.
"Yeah, I can help you." Mark said.
Mark helps Vanessa with her homework at lunch, since she doesn't want to do it at home. There wasn't many questions on the homework, so it didn't take long to finish. After about 4 minutes, Vanessa finished her homework.
"Thanks a lot." Vanessa said.
"You're welcome." Mark replied.
Vanessa gives Mark a handshake while doing so. Mark never received a hand shake from a female before. Vanessa walked away and went to a table with her two other friends. Mark proceeded to throw away his plate after finishing his lunch and sat back down.
"Man, I really should've asked for her number." Mark said to himself.
15 Minutes later, lunch ends. Mark goes to his third period which is history class, he has this class with his friend Ethan. Mark and Ethan sits at desk next to each other, the History teacher Ms. Wallace tells the students to watch the video that she plays on the TV screen. Mark and Ethan talks to each other quietly while the video is playing.
"So, how did it go?" Ethan asked.
"I dropped the ball, I had the opportunity to ask for her number but didn't."
"Aw man, You want some advice? Don't be nervous, and act natural." Ethan said.
"Tell me something I don't know." Mark replied.
"I'm just saying." Ethan said
Mark and Ethan continues to watch the video that the teacher put on the TV. Later after the Video, the students had to answer questions that were about the video on paper.
