Scene 6

Charles wakes up from a nap in his bedroom at 12:00 PM, He is off work for the day. Charles walks to the basement to work on the product for the company after eating lunch. The deadline for the product is near over. Charles cant stop thinking about curing his disease while working on the product. So after 20 minutes, he stops working on the product again to continue work on his cure. After a while, he figures out a way to cure his disease, by making a liquid antidote in a syringe. Charles was more than happy to finally figure it out. Charles does research on what substances that he needs for the antidote on his laptop.

"Amazing." Charles said to himself.

After enough research, Charles finds all the resources he needs to make for the cure. He remembers that some of the resources are in Valagon, his job.

"Maybe I can make a few calls" Charles said.

He decides to call Gloria, his Co-worker to see if she had one of the resources, but made sure to keep the disease a secret. Gloria told Charles that she didn't have it. Charles decides to start his car up so that he could go to Valagon to get the resources to take home. 15 Minutes later, He arrives at the Valagon building. He walks to the front door and uses his keycard to get through the security clearance. Charles goes to his bosses office in the building and knocks on his door. His boss, Nathan opens the door and wonders why he's here.

"Charles, what are you doing here? Why didn't you let me know you were coming ahead of time?" Nathan said.

"Nathan the only reason I'm here is because I need some materials to take home." Charles said to Nathan.

"Take home for what exactly?" Nathan asked.

"I cant really explain." Charles said.

Nathan was hesitant to let Charles leave with materials. But he decided to just let him go.

"Fine, go ahead take what you need, just make sure not to take all of it, Charles."

"Alright, thank you." Charles said.

Nathan couldn't let Charles go without asking about the product.

"Oh, One more thing, Are you making progress with the product." Nathan asked.

"...Yea, I'm making progress." Charles said.

Later, Charles went back home and went into his basement. When he went into his basement, he began making the antidote. He mixed the substances together enough to create one substance, it was purple-ish black liquid. He put the substance it into the syringe and then got prepared to inject it to his arm. Charles is slightly afraid, he doesn't know if it will work, but he has to take the risk in order to cure the disease. He injects the antidote in his left arm and nothing happened. He was unsure if the disease went away or not. He remembered that his computer in his lab at Valagon can show him the status of his disease. So he waits for the next day so that he can go back to work and check up on the disease.
