The next day Dean was sitting in a chair beside the bed where Castiel's lifeless like body laid, Sam was pacing the room nervously throwing ideas out to Dean trying to brainstorm on how to get Cas back. "Sam" Dean whispered out weakly, though Dean had not moved since Castiel got back except to use the bathroom, he was exhausted from the late nights. Sam stopped talking and pacing, he turned to his older brother and sighed with a small frown appearing on his face as he nodded. Sam sat in a chair on the opposing side, his leg bouncing nervously and impatiently. Sam couldn't help but want to help the entire time he's felt hopeless and pathetic, Sam's throat clamped up as the sadness rose to his eyes blurring his vision. Dean looked up from Castiel's still body to look at Sam "Sammy it's okay." Dean filled his words with lies, Sam scoffed in a way that was condescending "Really?! Do you really believe that Dean?!" Sam yelled at him as he stood up "You really fucking believe that?!" He yelled some more before storming out. No. Dean didn't believe what he said but he wanted to, he slid a hand over grabbing Cas's and squeezed it tightly allowing his fingers to intertwine with Castiel's. He felt the chillness of Castiel's hand, he sighed and closed his eyes as he slouched in his chair. Dean tried to keep himself calm for Sam but he couldn't help but feel the rage spill through his body as he squeezed Castiel's hand harder before feeling a finger on Cas's hand twitch this caused Dean's eyes to open immediately calling out for Sam. As Sam rushed into the room Castiel's hand wrapped around Dean's, Cas's eyes opened slowly as his vision attempted to focus on the men who towered over his body. "Cas?" Sam asked in a soft tone afraid he'd scare Castiel. Dean watching and waiting anxiety riddled him as he held onto Castiel's hand. "Sam. Dean." He spoke slowly. Sam laughed relieved as Dean smiled from excitement and joy. Cas sat up in the bed and looked at his hand which was enveloped in Dean's, his eyes shot up at Dean who didn't seem to care they were holding hands a small smile approached his lips. Sam hugged Cas tightly and Dean soon joined, finally Cas had come home letting his nerves subside.
