I'm excited to start this journey with Winn and Natalie! Especially since it's my first time entering the ONC.I'm using prompt 57:
Unknown to everyone you are battling a life-threatening condition. With only a couple of weeks to live you help your friend get the partner of their dreams, except they're in love with you. After hours of wondering why anyone, specifically a teen, would orchestrate such a feat for their friend, I got an idea. It's a bit weird/interesting but I decided to try it out because, why not? From what I've seen, the ONC is a great time to do so.
Also, I've only written romance in a few short contests, so I would love some feedback as I try out this relatively new genre in a longer work.
Note: this is a tragic (meaning there will be a death) contemporary YA romance.
Good luck to everyone participating in the ONC! I can't wait to see what everyone does with the prompts.
Let's get this ball rolling!
