Blue Roses

{ chapter 9 }

Y/n pov:

I left the graveyard after an hour just like I promised chan oppa .

I was wandering on the street when I heard someone

" Hello there ~ Blue rose."

At first. I thought someone mistaken me until I felt someone stare at me . I lifted my head and someone was looking at me with a big smile on his face.

"Hi. Yes you hi "

I didn't know what to do . I'm not a small talks person but I wasn't rude.

I said:" Hi...."

" I'm Kim Hong joong."

He introduced himself and offered me his hand

"f/n  y/n .:

I introduced myself and shook his hand with hesitation

I really didn't want to be mean but I couldn't believe that someone called that name other my mother.

She used to tell me that I was her rose.

Y/n:" I don't wanna sound rude. But why did you call me blue rose?  I don't even know you."

He started to apologize and he seemed so nervous I couldn't help but to think that he's cute

Wtf y/n get a hold on yourself. I thought to myself

I tried to calm him and I don't know why did I tell him that someone used to call that.
I said then

Y/n:" it's okay. So how can I help you?"

Oh he's promoting his café I see he gave a cookie and a drink.

I didn't want to take them at first but I had a feeling that I could trust him plus the birds in my stomach were very hungry.

Y/n :" thank you . Ateez café??"

Oh it's the name of the café that is across from us I was really surprised.

Hong:" I'm sorry. Is there a problem?"

Y/n :" no no . It's just you're the new owners of the town café."

Hong:" yes. That's right but how did you know that ."

Y/n:" oh well. I work in a book store right across from your café."

Hong:" omg . What a coincidence ~~
Then I'm going to hope to see you  on our opening night ."

He invited me to the opening night but I really don't like crowds

Y/n :" I'm sorry. I'm actually not a big crowd person."

Hong:" oh it's okay then . But I would really like it if you step by sometimes ."

Y/n :" who knows. Thank you for the cookies. And umm see you around I guess??....."

Hong:" oh no worries. Sure. See you around. BYE."

He waved at me and I nodded my head and left . I don't usually talk to people but  with him it seems so easy.

I decided to go buy some food because I was really hungry since I didn't eat anything today and save the cookies to desert.

I headed to the convenience store and bought some kimbap

After I check out.

I decided to have a walk since the weather was really nice today so I went to the park .

I was enjoying the weather when I suddenly pumped into someone.

Y/n:" oh . I'm sorry. My bad."

??:" It's okay. Don't worry about it. I wasn't looking either."

He then bent down to get his book and OMG because when I pumped into him his book fell into the little pond and it was completely wet .

I widened my eyes at the scene Infront of me.

Y/n:"OMG. I'm so sorry. It's completely ruined. I'm so sorry."

While I wasn't close to people. Books were my friend I was actually a book worm so i couldn't't handle that I actually ruined a book

??:" Hey. It's really fine . It's okay I can get another copy don't worry about."

Y/n:" well, ummmm . Oh yes I actually work in a bookstore you can visit the store and have a copy of the book or any book you want . I'm really sorry."

I handed him our card

I felt really bad . If I have been a little bit more careful.

He accepted it and then smiled at me

??:" Well . It's really fine. But can I actually ask for a favour?."

Y/n:" sure . Anything."

??:"well I'm kinda of lost actually and my phone battery is dead and I'm new to the town actually I just moved here . And now I don't know how to get home."

Y/n:" oh , sure tell me your street name and I can tell you how to get there."

??:"thank you. I live in XXXX street."

I was so surprised.

Y/n:" oh you actually live on my street. I headed there now. If you want we can walk together."

I don't know why I said that but he seemed like a good company plus I decided to open a little bit . I want to be the girl I used to be.

??:" Please. Thank you so much for your help. I'm choi jongho by the way."

Y/n:" I'm y/n . Nice to meet you jongho."

We started to walk together and we figured out that we are actually very similar

We both like books
We are both 22 years old
We both doesn't do small talk but surprising we could talk together well

Y/n:" so we have arrived."

Jongho:" thank you so much. My house is this actually."

Y/n:" don't worry about it . Oh so you're are the new owners. Well I live across you actually. This mine ."

I pointed at my house

Jongho:" well hello there neighbour ."
He said smiling

We both laughed

Y/n:" hi neighbour. I will expect to see at the bookstore because I really won't feel good until I get another one."

Jongho:" you really don't have to but I promise to stop by."

We said goodbye and I went to my house.

Today was really nice despite everything.

I ate my dinner and read a little
I went to bed at 11.30 pm

It was the first night without nightmares .
