They were walking through the woods again but this time they were on a path "so... not to be rude or anything but how old are you Strike?" Zane asked "thirteen and a half" Strike said proudly "how about you? are you old? You are like a giant!" Strike asked "Umm... I'm twenty three and I am not a giant" Zane said looking confused Ember said "well you are like seven feet tall" "Hey I'm six feet and nine inches I will have you know and maybe it's not that I'm tall maybe you are just short" Zane said laughing Ember yelled "I am 5' 4" that's not short!" Zane said "okay you have it your way" Zane said grabbing Ember's hand the road went through a town that had been abandoned Strike said "This is soooooo creepy" then Zane saw something run past a window in one of the houses "hold up I saw something" then Silver came up behind Strike and easily knocked her out "I keep capturing you two but every time you get away will I guess if you want something done right do it yourself" Zane rushed at him but Silver shot ice at his feet and he fell forward and Ember who was up ahead yelled "LEAVE US ALONE!" Her fire turning blue Silver walked closer to her "you won't win just give up and it will make things easier" Silver said
