That won't be happening Ember kept throwing balls of fire at Silver but the burning flesh didn't seem to stop him Zane was still struggling against the ice Ember only had one thing left to do she remembered the book about the Elementari king she gathered all her power and let it out the shock waves from the blast sent Zane flying backwards breaking the ice that was on his feet he yelled "Ember!" Getting to his feet the cloud of smoke cleared and Zane saw Ember's body on the ground Zane yelled louder "EMBER!" He ran over to her Zane knelt down and cradled her head in his hands "no" Zane said tears rolling down his face Ember smiled weakly at him and said quietly "Zane *cough *cough I love you always and forever... and we will *cough *cough see eachother again someday." Zane said "I love you too much more than you could ever know" Ember gave one last smile then her eyes went unfocused and the rise and fall of her chest stopped Zane held her even tighter tears now streaming down his face he didn't know how long he knelt there holding Ember's limp body crying but when no more tears would come he realized that Strike had woken up and his beside him crying too.
