After three more days of Ember getting taken to the lab and Zane being terrified for her Zane woke up earlier than Ember he was thinking how he would ask Ember THE QUESTION and how he would get the rings he had the money but he didn't know when and how to get them without Ember realizing he thought that he would try to talk his voice was raspy but he got out "Em...Ember" Zane was already thinking about how to tell her that his voice was back Ember woke up saying "Good morning handsome" Zane said in his raspy voice "Good morning beautiful" Ember's smile was bigger than any that you've ever seen "Zane! You got your voice back!" Zane smiled and was about to say something else when a voice said "I'm here to help you quick get out" it was a girls voice and then the doors opened "I picked the lock let's get out of here" Zane and Ember looked at each other surprised and then followed the shape down the hall it was still dark outside once they had made it a safe distance away it was sunrise and then they could see that the girl was short had dark skin and black hair with a zigzag steak of yellow in it and her eyes were bright yellow.
