After you finished your usual work you started walking to your room, but you got stopped my Fumiko. She was in the storage room and she dragged you in. She held you close to her as if she intended to never let go . "Hey (Y/N), do you mind if we go outside for a bit, lord scaramouche is already asleep and i really need to talk to you.." she whispered right into your ear "oh yeah of course" you said while slightly pulling off of her. She snuck you outside the estate and started walking with you you down the path, it was dark and it was raining the same way it has been since you've gotten there.
After you guys got far enough away she sat you down. Her face was coated with a dark red and she couldn't seem to look at you directly in the eyes.
She was absolutely adorable like that, god you wished you could be with her. "Hey (Y/N), i know this is wrong but" she took a second to catch her breath "i think i see you as more then just my friend or colleague.." she practically stopped breathing as she waited for your response. "Fumiko, I'm really glad that the feeling is mutual, but how will we be together in a place like the fatui?" The simple truth is that you couldn't, but you prayed to the archons you could somehow make it happen. "Does it really matter (Y/N)? I really cant help it, I've loved you since we first met before we both worked under lord scaramouche."
You took a moment to think of how to react to that but all you could do was jump into her arms nearly knocking her over. "I love you too Fumiko.." you whispered into her ear. She held onto you for as long as she could before holding onto your face and staring into your eyes. All you could think about was her, she was your everything. You could never imagine life without her, she had been your best friend for years and nobody has treated you the way she does. Fumiko leaned closer to your face before looking right into your eyes. You could easily tell what she was asking. Quickly you felt her soft warm lips on yours, she didnt let go and neither did you. After she let go after what was probably minutes, she continued on about how much you meant to her. The moment seemed perfect, but you had a horrible feeling, almost as if you were being watched. You told Fumiko and you both looked around, after you both agreed there was nobody you guys decided you should walk back.
