(Quick rule about part 2's there will only be a part two if I or another person thinks there should be.)
Norman pov
"The ambulance is on the way, Sam," I said softly. Sammy began crying and I held him tightly in my arms.
"Is this what all of this was for?" He cried, "Did you ask me to marry you for this?" He asked through tears.
"No, I asked you to marry me because I love you, and I won't let you do this," I whispered. "I can't lose you, Samuel," I said solemnly.
"Norman, the world hates me! You can find someone else just please." He begged loudly through tears, the red and white lights filled our window. "Norman," Sammy whispered, "My vision's really blur- blurry."
"Stay with me Sammy," The door to our bedroom opened and Sammy was put on a stretcher, they lifted him out and into the ambulance, I climbed in with him, and they hooked him up to an IV and Sammy went unconscious. I sighed squeezing his limp hand.
"We have to leave now!" One of the paramedics yelled.
The other paramedics nodded as one said, "I'll drive we need as many people as possible in here."
"Okay, stay with us," One of them said, "What's your name?" One of them asked.
"His name is Sammy," I answered.
The trip to the hospital felt like it was taking forever. We finally made it there and Sammy was rushed in. I felt the weight all fall on me as I waited on him to come out. "Please Sammy," I whispered, "Not like this," I whispered.
It took a few hours and a code blue for me to realize all of this might be my fault, I've been so busy lately, Sammy's probably been so alone. I feel so bad as the weight crashes down on me over and over.
Eventually, a doctor comes out, "He's okay, he should make a full recovery." I smiled and was escorted up to his room. I gripped his hand, looking at the mask on his face, the mask filling with air for Sammy to breathe.
"You're going to be okay," I promised. "I'll be here, I promise I'm right here."
"Nor-man?" Sammy asked, cracking my name in two. I smiled and nodded.
"Yes, Sammy, I'm right here," I said, looking at his face, waiting for his eyes to open, eventually after a few minutes his eyes opened, and he looked at me a smiled, his hair was messy, and his hospital gown was slightly opened, showing a little green sticky pad on his chest.
"Hey, Norman," Sammy whispered, "I'm really sorry," Sammy whispered, I watched as he turned his head to look away from me, and I moved him to look at me.
"No, Sammy, I'm sorry." I looked away sighing and looking back into Sammy's beautiful green eyes. "I was so busy, caught up in my work, I even left town for a week without telling you once, and all the stress and depression building up on you," I paused and looked in closer, "that must have been awful."
"Norman," Sammy coughed weakly, "None of this was your fault, I'd never blame you for what I did." Sammy smiled, "And sure your year of work was awful, but I still got to see you, and you still showed you cared." Sammy choked out.
"Oh Sammy," I whispered.
Sammy pov
"Oh Sammy," Norman whispered. I placed my hand on his cheek, gently stroking it. I sat up a little, hiding the pain.
"I love you Norman," I whispered.
"I love you too, Sammy," Norman whispered back.
"Oh goodness Norman, tell me you've slept at least a little," I whispered.
